- The Amazon Vine review program is the scheme where Amazon sends free (in the UK) products to select customers (known as Vine Voices) in return for a written review. I’ve been a part of it for 13 years and here’s a look at what I received last month
In the UK, where I am, products are completely free, but in the US (since 2015) review items count as income and reviewers pay tax above a certain level.

Have you ever had to return any items? I have just signed up today for Vine... And I'm sure over time I'll end up receiving stuff I don't want but also don't want to keep it for 6 months
No never, I’m pretty sure that clause is there just to stop people requesting things purely to sell

Usual thing, just apply common sense. Don’t be a d*** and request stuff just to sell and you’ll be fine
Is it possible to return unwanted items?
No, but you can “dispose” of them after six months, though in reality they never check to see if you wait that long
@@CandidClara tried to return some items I ordered. It said one wasn't eligible for return, but allowed me to create a return for one item.. Just an FYI
@KushTubeUK I personally wouldn’t, once you start rocking the boat you risk getting the dreaded “suspended for not meeting criteria” note which they seem to hand out for anything that breaks the mould

Still not clear on the ordering part...? Can I choose which items to order in general, or do they provide a list from which you can order items, or do they just send you random items to review?
I do not feel happy just generating more global garbage if you know what i mean.
You get to choose from a list, 3 lists actually. I am on a bit of a crusade against global garbage and I like to think (hope) that by reviewing, or calling out, the crap we help a little against the tide! Hope that helps. I’m planning a longer video soon with EVERYTHING I’ve learned about Vine since 2010
