definitely an awesome Rafiq deck. I love seeing decks with the same commanders as mine but with completely different cards, my Rafiq is exalted with a sub tribal angels.

ultimateplaneswalker nope, 24. 5/5 the first attack, then 7/7 the second attack. so 5+5+7+7=24. but a one-shot either way, or 4-shot, however you want to look at it lol.
I think it is not right friends, in the first attack it does not cause damage, because the letter "finest hour" says that if it is the first phase of combat, untap the creature, after that phase, an additional combat phase happens, in this case, the creature no deals combat damage, it only attacks, but then it is untapped, and it attacks again, so in the first attack, it gains + 2 / + 2, is untapped and is tapped again to attack gaining + 2 / + 2, getting in 7/7 with double strike. I just validated this by playing in xmage.
