Ignore the 1k subs thing lol. I was originally going to post this on my newer, smaller channel but decided to post it here instead. BUT, thanks everyone who has subbed, and lets try to get this channel to 12k! I GOT MORE CONTENT COMIN'!
Gotta use the healing bubble then switch to cloak whiles the bubble heals when it runs out, cover your team in darkness whiles moving to the back line, then switch back to dagger
same. I think I have bad luck because as soon as I switch to Cloak suddenly my team starts immediately dying even though we were doing fine just a second ago
@@alitadombroski7688 That can happen for sure, especially if you're the only one healing which will happen a lot in Quickplay. But honestly if the team dies within seconds if you pause spamming heals at them, that's not really on you
You missed a feature of Dagger's Veil of Lightforce; Anyone it touches gets that green aura for 4 seconds, and they take increased heals during that duration. It's a lot like the effect that Jeff's bubbles do.
Cloak and dagger is my favorite strategist especially because of cloak. Most games people always pick duelist ajd no one wants to heal, so c and d lets me dps and heal. The one thing i find is too many people that just play dps or tank dont know how the strategists work. Too many times i throw down the healing dome for the tanks and dps and they dont go in it, like bruh get yourself in the damn bubble! C and D is very strong chara ter when you how to play the character and your teammates understand the kit. For those who insta lock dps always, at least go lea4n the other characters so you know what is going o n when your teammates do something to benefit you. And theres many games that i was solo healer that keep everyone alive and had the most kills. Cloak and Dagger is top tier
@Sadisticpanther yeah and they expect you to chase them down and heal them. Typically COD death match players. If you over extend good luck, play the obj, this ain't kill conformed
Heyy C&D main here A tip for Cloak&Dagger: As Dagger, if you put down her dome and switch to Cloak, you can deal damage while being healed by your own abilities.
Cloak and Dagger is my go to, and my most played by far. I am like you, not the best at aiming so the auto lock on, and veing able to support my team is great.
She’s superb. Massive healing output. Massive damage output. The range on cloak keeps you in an awesome natural rhythm. You generally and naturally switch to cloak to protect yourself or finish a frag but only when it’s up close. Dagger you main and you keep healing for the most part but if you get jumped you have some way to protect yourself. The design on these characters is just top tier. I love the balance. Favorite character so far and I mean both cloak and dagger feel good to use. I’m getting as much damage as my dps mains but more beaks that Jeff or strong. Just superb all round
The anchor (character on the left in this case cloak) gets that team up bonus whether there is a moonknight on the field or not. It is a season bonus, so enjoy the healing buff we get now because next season she will heal 15% less when the bonus is gone.
I love being a healer but I hate how everyone always yelling saying that I’m not giving them enough heals then we get to the end of the game and they see that I have 20k-25k healing and they shut up
Cloak and dagger is so fun. I went 7-0 and went 18-0 in one match and healed for 9000. Peni Parker is amazing as well . I like playing as tanks and supports . 😊
For shadow veil, it will only protect teammates if they don't shoot or reload while you activate it. So have to do nothing while in that state. I also found out that the ult stakes for dmg and healing, so if you need more healing, stack it near your team, what scuks is nobody on my team wants to stand on it
Great Video!! I'll definitely have to take these into account. I love playing as C/D cause don't have the high carry potential like a Spiderman, Scarlet Witch, or Iron Fist, however they're absolutely one of the few character in which you 100% have to deal with in order to win.
I've done multiple team swipes and gotten MVP with these two. Being able to switch between both is essential for maintaining areas AND the obvious healings. Cloak is so underused, and it is criminal. Timing is crucial.
Good sir, i would like some more book recommendations. Haven't watched you since i quit playing snap but I've read every book recommendation I've gotten lol
Yeah very good video but at high ranks you have to use the ult to counter other ults or get on a point at 0 seconds. you don’t need to ult the whole point in a triangle, you need 1 dash before the point for ranged dps, on the point for tanks and in the enemy back line to try to get a pick on a support. If you have a Luna or mantis you should be trying to communicate with them to cycle your ults for counters. Starting the ult in the air is a very good tip especially for penny mines, one little thing is you can use your sphere if your cut off from teammates, underneath them or through groot walls
You missed a pretty key feature of Terror Cape, when hit an enemy receives vulnerability increasing the damage taken while their health bar is purple. If done right this can help you melt the backline divers like iron fist or spiderman but it can also help your team mow down a tank if coordinated.
It's so funny to me watching the enemy divers getting progressively frustrated at me throughout the game. Today there was a thor who by the end of the game was making some pretty reckless moves bc he was ignoring all my teammates to just focus lil ol' cloak and dagger me 😂 (i was consistently kicking his ass)
I’ve started getting better at using cloak but I focus so much on the healing aspect that I’m probably using dagger 85% of the time but I’m used to think they had terrible survivability until I started using cloak more
@ yea I’m almost always the only strategist and I like healing and all but don’t get mad at me when I can’t keep all of you alive when you all go off on your own
yeah i'm curious to see how that works. they haven't publicly said anything about that. it'll be interesting to see if they straight up remove those bonuses after or completely change the team ups
In quick play I feel like 5k heal per area (so 10k if you win 2-0 and 15k if you win/lose 2-1) is a respectable goal to aim for. Dmg and kills I don’t look at. It’s good to get them but it’s not your primary job.
16:42 You,want to get to a point where youre in Cloak more, you should really only be in dagger as heals are needed, if everyone is topped off, switch to cloak do damage, the. you see chunks being taken out of people swotch to dagger top off throw your E, then switch to Cloak. Exactly like you say towards the end.
with their ult, is you go back and forth 3 times, so the effects are overlapping, does this multiply to 90 dps per second or is it a waste to overlap the ult?
While the dmg output isn't the same at the end of the match as others i just love asking my duelist teammates if they were sleeping during the game cause i ended up with more kills while healing for 10 - 15k 😂
Players will be more aware of it as time moves on. Sometimes you have to just land it on them. It’s also your best defense against dive. Drop it on yourself and switch to cloak and melt the back liner . Just stay in the circle while you melt. Even if it’s 2v1 you can often take one and then do cloaks escape to reset. Often the circle heal will be back soon after and you can rinse and repeat. Juggling her abilities is key. Fact she doesn’t share cool downs means you can pump out her abilities constantly. She’s endlessly fun.
i actually touch on this in the new video I just posted because not many people seem to realize that: ua-cam.com/video/jrdHJ4f7vH8/v-deo.htmlsi=iEp0MCQRMIhjY-fy
This character feels like the Moira trap of this game. Spammy character with big numbers, but doesn't have the utility or skill ceiling of other healers like Mantis and Luna. At least they aren't quite as bad as Moira in that way, though
Huh. Wasn't aware Moira could save the team from Dva bomb, genji blade, Reinhardt smash or the ults of Illari, Hanzo, Cassidy, Junk, Orisa, Sombra, Pharah, Reaper, Soldier, Hog, Tracer, Venture. Shit Didn't know Moira took over Kiriko's Suzu. Definitely some REAL BAD utility for sure
@@MaximumCarnage- I literally said it's wasn't as bad as Moira. I'm just going by comparison to other supports. The stuns, damage boosts, burst damage potential, and ultimates of Mantis and Luna don't show up on the scoreboard, so players won't notice that value as often. That's the point I'm making
@@TheTriple2000 you can literally negate ults with Mantis and Luna. My point was about comparison to those other supports. But you clearly knew that when you wrote this comment because you intentionally left that part out of the quote. Have fun shadowboxing, I guess
I get where you’re coming from but I think the key component is time management. With C and D you can be very effective at multiple roles all the time. You can provide value to your team mates constantly. Her heal range is far so much better than Moira. And his damage range is low so it naturally makes you play them effectively. He can protect the backline when needed but trying to be a dive dps or a dmg spam makes no sense their overall kit. Heal as best you can/protect yourself/punish dives. The entire design is more about retaliation, opportunism, self preservation. If you can get the same heal output while dying less and killing more they are just a top tier strategist. People get mad cause they misunderstand the role. As long as the strategist is getting the heads in everything else they throw out is a bonus including the ability to stay in the game.
Ignore the 1k subs thing lol. I was originally going to post this on my newer, smaller channel but decided to post it here instead. BUT, thanks everyone who has subbed, and lets try to get this channel to 12k! I GOT MORE CONTENT COMIN'!
Yeah I am always so scared to switch to Cloak, like my team will die the second I switch 😂
Gotta use the healing bubble then switch to cloak whiles the bubble heals when it runs out, cover your team in darkness whiles moving to the back line, then switch back to dagger
I mainly switch to Cloak when MY life is in danger, because they will *definitely* die if I'm dead
same. I think I have bad luck because as soon as I switch to Cloak suddenly my team starts immediately dying even though we were doing fine just a second ago
I usually run my daggers down, swap to cloak and toss a Terror Cape and then swap back if needed. Swapping reloads so it’s not much time lost
@@alitadombroski7688 That can happen for sure, especially if you're the only one healing which will happen a lot in Quickplay. But honestly if the team dies within seconds if you pause spamming heals at them, that's not really on you

At 1:30 you should’ve used the last ult dash to go in their back line and try to get a pick while standing on your ult
