So helpful!!!! No lie, I had this thing halfway folded up against a wall andfor weeks because I couldn't follow the Ikea instructions and got inpatient after 2 tries. I knew someone else must've struggled with those silly directions so I searched UA-cam... Voila!! Thank you so much! I closed it properly in 1 minute flat😃

Yes kudos to you, many thanks! Most fold-together items with this kind of coiled clastic cable sort of fall in on themselves but not the IKEA tent. I too read instructions several times but the way you explicitly instructed to fold down and tuck under did the trick!

Found this after another video showed a different way where you have to be two people in order to close it. This tutorial was so easy to follow. Thanks.

We bought one of these two weeks ago. My wife opened it up one night after i went to work. It was on the bed in our spare bedroom because we couldn't figure out how to close it. Thanks for the video, saved us lots of embarrassment at the beach. lol

I reference this video everytime I’m packing up at the beach and I can’t remember how to fold this thing (which is most times). I honestly think it’s that my arms are just a tiny bit too short to hold the whole thing and fold it by myself so I usually grab a friend to help. But your video is such a huge help. I have it permanently saved as an open window on safari
