Hi! Thanks for your comment. Sadly not. If you do the maximum flow through the diagram you get 800. With 300 flowing through ABCE. There is only 500 capacity remaining through CE. Adding DC with capacity 500 means the cars from AD can flow through DC and then CE meaning there are no cars through DE. Or 150 can go through DE and the 350 pass through DC into CE. Either way, 300 cars go along the top and 500 cars pass along the bottom making 800. I hope this makes sense.
