215 huh. Didn’t expect to see some of these weights on your channel, seems like the Midwest tends to use the original weight class set up of 182, 195, 220, and 285, cool to see some of the upper weights of the new weight class system of 175, 190, 215, and 285.

It's just a function of date. I have a long backlog of older matches to get through from previous seasons, so you can expect to see the older weight classes for a while. That said, I am trying to balance old and new, meaning that any matches from this season use the new weight classes. Dates are listed in each video description.

The 215 is that their weight?

215 is the maximum in pounds that they could weigh in order to qualify for that weight class. The minimum is 175.1. In other words, their actual weight could be anywhere between 175.1 lb to 215 lb.

@@dwaynebowen3792 The exactness just refers to the maximum that a wrestler can weigh in order to qualify for a weight class. In other words, if a wrestler is 0.1 lb over, they cannot qualify for that weight. But it is okay to weigh less than aweight class, as long as they don't drop by more than one weight class. 175 lb would be two weight classes below 215 lb (215, 190, 175, etc.), which is why they cannot weigh any less than 175.1 lb in order to still qualify for the 215 lb weight class.
