It’s been a toss up between it and the Pochette Métis EW, and for not much more, I figure the side trunk is more spacious and unique … but the craftsmanship is what really sealed the deal. That's a question I'm often asked. I haven't ... YET..lol So far, my vachetta has stayed beautiful by keeping a watchful eye and rotating bags. But if i only owned 1 or 2 lv bags with vachetta, I most likely would've tried the appleguard by now. But since I rotate often, try to keep vachetta out of direct sunlight, not take out on rainy days (I live in California, a lotta sunny days here), and carry 99.9% water baby wipes with me (if you ever get a watermark on vachetta and quickly get to it with a wipe, it'll take the watermark out!), that's been working pretty well. I'm definitely not opposed to appleguard, I just haven't felt the need to use it ... hope that helps a bit 🥰
I have the monogram and black leather Side Trunks. I love them equally!!! Wondering if the treated vachetta will darken over time, which I wouldn't mind. We'll see.😊

So I'm trying to decide between the speedy 20 and the pouchette metis east west in dune, I don't own either style yet (I only have the diane and the grand palais both in monogram) I was also considering the keepall 45 in dune, I like the dune side trunk as well in dune but not sure about the price. Any advice?

I say that bc I really like where the black leather is in comparison to the vachetta. The keepall 45 is a beautiful option too! Do you own a keepall already? I would ask yourself which you would use more: a keepall or bag? The great thing is this. You really can't make a wrong decision bc all of those options are beautiful!

Do you use Apple Garde on the vachetta on your many LV bags?
