wish i could go back to 2021...when i first watched the show. i could still hear...the voices the sound everything all the emotiom ..not i do be deaf and its just..not the same. idk. i read the fan fics but even those have died. ty for this. brings back something good in a dark time

It's such an important show for me! It helped me accept myself (I'm asexual) when I still had a lot of internalized homophobia.
The way everyone can fall in love with everyone and no one judges. They are more than their sexualities. In this world there is no homophobia. They are complex characters, with ambitions, desires, flaws, insecurities. They look like real people. This show was everything my younger self needed to see! And there's that incredible ending with Catra and Adora that wasn't stolen from us and there was no censorship! They end happily, they are canon 😭😭❤❤ and neither of them died.
I watched the entire 5th season, scared to death that they wanted to make a ""pretty"" ending involving Catra's sacrifice and her dying at the end. Thank God she ended up alive and happy. It's something that truly gives hope and for me makes the series perfect. Adora spent the entire series giving her all to others and can finally be happy with the person she always loved😭❤
