You have to work on getting the hand rest off first it’s kind of tricky, but if you take your time, I’m sure you’ll be able to accomplish it. Subscribe or don’t subscribe it’s up to you.

Where’s a place to get new belts for these machines? I own a 688 and I believe it needs a new belt
My 688 was playing slow so I thought I’d give it a try and it worked. I found the belt on eBay.

I was lucky enough to find it on eBay. I searched “drive belt for a tascam 688”. hope this helps.

Sorry, I don’t. I’m not sure what size the belt is. I took a chance and bought it online and lucky for me it worked.
