I own one myself more than 6 years. Absolutely no issues. i was sceptical on the comfort but on the long drives never felt a discomfort. When i am driving on the highways, i would be doing 120-130 just a foot on the pedal where as other majority SUV s seem to spending quite a bit of effort to fizz through. For sure, not going to sell this anytime. The only disadvantage is you cant drive this in the city. I have a second car so not an issue.

The top speed i have clocked is about 170km/hr. Didn't feel unsafe. But yes, average speed is around 140 most of the times. A beast to cruise. As you said, you really need to be matured driver to drive this unlike hatchbacks or mid size SUVs

But what about carrying the luggage properly? I mean when you are on a trip in a V cross partially filled with luggage in the loading bay, won't the luggage keep moving and making sound as the car moves? Also if your car goes on a rough patch of road, the luggage in the deck would actually keep on crashing here and there right?
That actually only happens when you pack very light.. As a family of 4 we always have a full loading bay .. 😜 not a good habit though

Hello BhaiSahab, I am from Haryana. I used to own an immaculate Xuv500. I enjoy cruising at 120 kmph on highways. After an Xuv, I bought a Scorpio, which is comfortable till 90. I am looking for a vehicle which is big and can cruise at 120 kph. I never off road. My hill drives are rare. I love Rajasthan, and holiday there in May and June. Current options are Xuv 700, Isuzu V Max or Thar(not that keen). Whats your advise?

Yes. You can keep 2 HImalayan kind of bikes and 3 Xpulse kind of bikes. I've tried on my Vcross

is it worth to go for 2018 - 1.65km on odo v cross at good price in 2nd hand market. post 170km can reliability issues come or its reliable as it wont be expensive to own one. I am getting a good deal thats why i am asking. Kindly help

Watching it after the Hilux has been launched now. Even I was thinking that prices of both the cars should have been reduced but we know the reality. The prices have only gone up.
Yep.. i feel both are over priced now.. especially isuzu is not worth more than 20 but its 26+ now
Do you still own isuzu...I have sane colour from 2017...model...I found initial pick specially a inclined one need High revving of engine..or say ur struggle to fain the momentum. I asked other isuzu v cross owner n they said same...
Yes that it a problem.. You feel it needs more power.. some have solved that problem by remapping..

In your experience
Thar for 2 or a family of 3 (no elders) , Isuzu can be a family car. Thar you cant keep luggage if you are 3 folks for long trips, i am not counting the uncomfortable roof mounted options.
If you are a couple then that is good..

A little on the expensive side.. I feel a little overpriced by 3-4 lakhs.. but overall all cars are getting expensive .. so take your call accordingly. Will definitely be much cheaper than Toyota Hilux.. so still a good option

Haha don't really resonate at all - i wanted a pick up but surely will not cough up so much on an outdated Isuzu Vcross and surely not on an used one !!!!! I know someone trying to sell and make the quick buck since 2020 ! And still not been able get the sale. Isuzu still pushing the outdated model. Better to wait for the Mahindra Karoo Pik Up.

Never buy. It is under powered,as discussed turbolag. Even 2.5 engine does not work above 8000kms. Turbo only operates over 2500RPM , it sluggish i have used all over in Himalayas it is not worth. This 1.9 engine is sluggish under powered. The friend is is diplomatic. in statment, and as he said u have to set your mind set as per the car. It not worth for money no buy TATA.or Mahindra. They have better service set up. Better resale ability. Before buying sales figure. U need to fit anti roll bar rear. I have fitted , i have used 58kms. Poor dealer net work . Late supply of parts. The warranty figures assured are not consumer friendly. They have no ethics in warranty it always the fault of client. They charge client unde name of good will. I have thre Isuzu sold one other two i am not able sell as i get only 12 lac for my mux 2018 and across only 10 lacs.. Due poor sale Isuzu is struggling., Itmay close down its operation like Ford motors so go for better electronic package and better service to TATA & Mahiendrs it better it my correct opinion.
