As someone who owns the Mezco lockjaw it’ feels more disappointing than someone who doesn’t have an iteration of lockjaw at all. To spend extra to get a great lockjaw figure and then you can’t even skip this arguably bad one because you need crystal it just sucks
I’m one of the people who really wanted Crystal and Lockjaw since forever but for $70 I just can’t justify it. I feel like as collectors we have to put our foot down somewhere. The EoV was one, this is another. Even if this Lockjaw had articulation and Crystal was properly articulated it still wouldn’t be worth it IMO.
Im curious why this was 69.99when Punisher and Bushwhacker was 54.99 and that one came with way more accessories and was a better 2 pack imo. Appreciate the review Manny, I'll definitely be watching for this 2 pack to go on sale.
Probably because they could justify making new parts for human like figures since they can easily reuse them later on the line when it comes to lockjaw is only ever gonna be used for him maybe one other dog like character, but that’s about it

I hear ya with what you said about how much it bums you out when they do a poor job with a figure from your wish list. That’s how I felt about Cyber and Random. Warstar and Tusk are on my wishlist and I’m praying they don’t do to them like what they did to some from yours. Great review!

To be honest, I like the Mezco Lockjaw a little better, at least aesthetically, but the ML version is a lot more versatile, even without Zabu’s articulation. I like the standard Crystal’s hair and the action Crystal’s sculpt. I wonder if that would be an easy swap?
Hard pass on this one but I love your reviews man. Definitely not dropping $70 on a two pack, especially how they did my boy Karnak on that horrible pizza spidey mold. If they would have revealed pinless updates on Karnak and black bolt I might have considered buying it.
We do but as I said during my comparison segment, Blackbolt, Medusa, and Karnak already need updates. So we are behind because once we get Triton and Gorgon which will look updated, the other half of the team will look weirdly outdated.
How is it a statue when it has 2 face swaps, articulated feet, articulated paws, articulated tail, articulated tongue, 2 swappable hindlegs, and 2 power effects?

@@emmanuelsilvera8032 He just doesn't have two joints that wouldn't change posing him. The swappable hindlegs are giving us the articulation to bend him. He can bend forward because he has articulation at the shoulders and paws.
Crystal is one of the coolest Inhuman characters like Black Bolt because she has very cool unique powers and her dog Lockjaw is adorable while looking badass with his antenna I may not have this 2 pack but very awesome review overall
Try and get any of the other highly articulated animals to sit and you’ll see that the swappable legs were the only way to go. Also, real bulldogs can’t even scratch themselves so if there was ever an animal to have less movement, it’s a bulldog. 😂
Any highly articulated animal figures I own, I can pull off the sitting poses easily because I know how to actually pose my figures. Sounds like you just suck at posing 😂
@@Xmanny87He's articulated well enough to pull off every post needed. The scratching pose argument is silly. The ab crunch looks ugly and them molding her stomach is better with the design is better. They hid it on Phoenix and Warbird with their belts, and you can't see it on Black Widow because she's completely black. And the only figure with a light up feature is the Galactus HasLab. It's dumb to ask for something that they never ever do with any figure ever, especially a non HasLab figure. Your review is silly and not practical because you're asking for things, like battery powered lights, on a retail Hasbro figure and unnecessary joints, but expect Sentinels with hardly any paint and a cheap plastic rock to cost the same price as a deluxe with a whole bunch of swappable parts, and ask for lights. Come on. How is that value for price point.

Well, with Crystal I now; I'm down to only 6 Customs in my 76 member Avengers as I took off hers. I technically now have the Inhuman's Royal Family as I have the most recent Black Bolt, Medusa, and Karnak, and I have the Toy Biz Gorgan and Triton. So technically I have that Team completed.
The pricing for Marvel Legends continues to be some of the worst! It's hard to shell out so much money and knowing that you are not getting the best quality product! Both figures are lacking in articulation and Hasbro upcharged the set anyway! I love Marvel Legends but they are making it difficult to stay on board.

They weren't trying to do that. Fox was never going to stop making X-Men movies, they had a solo Gambit movie, solo Multiple Man movie, solo Kitty Pryde movie, Legion, the Gifted, Wolverine solo movies, Deadpool solo movies. They were everywhere, and Marvel had the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. They also had comics.

Sue looks great with Sharon Carter head someone slapped on the Crystal head on the Sue buck, and it looks pretty good.
