  • When riding offroad, KTM’s Offroad ABS becomes a useful tool. The system disables rear-wheel ABS to allow riders to slide and steer with the rear wheel.
The option gives the advanced rider far more feedback and control in tricky, loose conditions.

This is actually really useful and not to be underestimated...if you come from a street riding background it is so easy to lock up the front offroad

So I can apply full brakes around a corner on dirt or asphalt and have little consequence?

The intensity in which ABS engages changes as well, not only the fact that the rear wheel ABS is disabled.

The No-ABS example is clearly manipulated…even the most inexperienced driver will not have such poor performance. For several meters the driver was not putting any pressure at all on the brakes and he was allowing the bike to just roll freely.

Why does this video feel like propaganda to sell pricey electronics? This is just like electric mountain bikes. A person should put in time and practice to develop skills, and not be forced to purchase assistance. Will there be a regular version motorcycle available?
