You made my day. I'm an intern of an artist and she's overwhelming with the ideas of storing crafts supplies in a way to be transport easy and out of sight but easy to access. So, putting them in suitcases is a novel one.

@@caringprism8841 Warning, the suitcases get heavy. 😂

    I didn’t see a “donate” link. But this is a semi-old video. I’m not sure it’s a thing currently.
Thank you for this video. I’m looking to do something very similar but not mobile.

@@BadKittyNoMilk I’m no longer taking donations, but please do bring any donations you have to a center near where you live. The seniors really appreciate it! 😊 Wishing you the best starting your own workshops!

I think it's wonderful that you can teach in a foreign language too. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Teresa! I try! There's a senior center here that I love: 50% Italian, 50% Chinese, so I jump between English and Chinese throughout the entire workshop. It's great fun haha.

Wow... that suitcase looks incredibly heavy. Props to you for running these workshops!

Hello there :) I'm also planning on starting a scrapbooking boutique online and I was inspired by your content. I just wanted to know how do you customise orders according to the customer's wish? Like, how do you get their pictures and do you ask them specific questions and what not?

@@OrigamiTree Hello, thanks for replying! Your channel is already awesome, but I'd be super happy if you had a series about how to run a work shop in depth. This video got me very excited about starting and you taught it in a very fun way. I want to run art workshops for kids but struggle with organization and you look so organized and talented.

I'll bet you could find a volunteer to sharpen the pencils at your events with the kids. As a teacher, I find kids usually love to have a "job" at fun events like this. I plan on leading some origami sessions this summer. Thanks for sharing the organizational ideas with us. I loved hearing about your work with the kids and seniors. Keep up the great work.

      Hi Mikey,
Thanks so much! Hey, that's not such a bad idea haha! I used to have this one little helper who always offered to do everything, but then her and her family moved out of state. Unfortunately, most of these events take place at large venues in NYC where there is a "time limit" to how long you can stay. So if you're there from 12-3, for example, by 3pm, your suitcase better be entirely packed and you must be OUT...or security will come and get you, haha. So what ends up happening is I quickly toss everything in and roll away as quickly as possible to clean up at home. 😂😂
