These were great times...when entertainers could say anything during an act without having to APOLOGIZE for knocking someone. People knew what fun was back then, and I should know, I was there. Folks didn't get offended and made entertainers say they were sorry in public for everything they did or said.
"I'm not gonna hold it, whitey!" And these words in the 60s, when black people weren't even alowede to take the bus! These guys are hilarious!!! I love them
"have you forgotten the south?" "im trying to, baby!" "im Alabamy bound..." "you go there by yourself, i kno that... leader or no leader i aint going withcha, baby, they gotta come get me up here!"
That was a lot of entertainment. Too bad there is no show in Vegas today that even comes close to that kind of talent, no matter how much you spend on show tickets! Two white guys and their black friend just clowning around on stage was light years ahead of where American society was at the time.
Could we see Buble, Connick and maybe Wayne Brady doing something like this? Cannot think of an african-american who could do the same thing....any ideas?
is it just me, or at 5:17 does Sammy light up a fattie?? I ask because I watch him smoke and he inhales, and holds his breath.. you don't do that with tobacco!
Back in da day. This is what made us a great country.
Awesome footage. I wish i lived back then. I would of been there everynight with a jack on the rocks in my hand. Thanks for posting Brad.
My GOD!!!! What I would do , to be alive and there!!!!!
Wish could have been around during those times abosolutly my favourite entertainers there will be any more like them x

I love how @0.40, Dean just picks up the whole microphone, stand and all, in only one hand, like it weighed no more than one of his golf clubs!
