The first wave of hardcore (‘79-82) is some of the best rock and roll ever made. I never get tired of it.
I'm 59 still going to shows and never intend to stop a lot of young dudes at shows today never got to see some of best early 80s HardcoreBands. !

Peaked in about '83. Best show I saw was Necros/ Void/ Antidote/ Iron Cross October 83 at the long march jazz club @ broad and south
"Golden Age" term gets tossed around a lot but right here is pretty damn close to a perfect example!
