Thank you, Ana. This bed is simple and straightforward, and your documentation of its construction is equally so. Thanks, too, for your generosity in offering us complete (33-page) plans at no cost! Best, Chris (in Maine)
Once again, another great video idea. I can attest to your drawer technique. Though a newbie, I have completed about 36 drawers using your system and everyone, vertical or horizontal, fit great the first time. You hit it by saying checking sqaure, it is critical for success....
I wonder if a 72 year old, disabled woman, can make this bed, with drawers?? I am going to buy a tiny house. I hate to pay the builder $500 to $1000, for this, but with a flat top, with no way to help the mattress breathe. Bad back and knees. Anyone think I could do this?
I have this custom wood bed with storage too but has been frustrated dealing with bugs, there's always new bite every-day and it's so annoying because it's very itchy and swollen. And I think I developed some allergy along the way. Know that the bed has wide surface and also Nook and cranny where bugs can hide and crawl. I don't have this issue on the first year but now I have and I clean my room daily.
I want to make the bed with drawers for my daughter and your video and tuturial is amazing! One question I have is how do you know how far back from hole opening to put the drawer slides? Thank you!
Do you think it would be possible to open the drawers on both sides of the bed? I imagine that for a motorhome: a folding bed on top, and drawers that can be opened from the outside when the weather is nice, from the inside when it rains. But I don't know what sliding system to use to make this possible.
Love it when you make adjustments to a past project. You drawer technique once again proves its worth.
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the great video Ana! I love your teaching style-you make it seem so easy that anyone could do it! Bless you for that.
Ironically, I was just thinking about making a bed for my spare bedroom/office. Perfect timing!❤
This would be perfect for that!
I was, too. I think I might just do this.

I set at 1”, or about 1/4” more than the door face thickness
This is detailed in the plans.
Very good video. Where is the plans?

Well that’s a clever idea! If you figure it out we’d love to see your solution!
❤
Quite tongue twisting, but great. Thank you.
I agree the drawer slide/side stuff is really hard to say clearly 😂
I want to do a queen!
is it ok if i can replace 1 by X wood by using only plywood?
Yes, 3/4" plywood would work great as well!
Drawer sides/drawer slides. Seems like a tongue twister!
It sure is!
Ok now, how can I scale this into a queen size bed…lol
Sides and slides 😅
I know right! LOL
Hey! Am.....am I seeing gray hair? No way! Must be all those kids. 😂😂😂
This is really cool. Too bad I don't need one right now. ::snap::
Thank you!
