It was so much fun to meet Leslie Sbracco in person, as well as just being on the show; Leslie really IS as much fun in person as she is on your TV! Big hugs to Leslie, Maureen, Jess, Tina Stalter, and Vic Chin!

I wish I had someone to go dining with instead of eating fast food alone in my room all the time.

I wonder what happened to the third restaurant? Maybe it closed before this episode could air?

Just found this on their FB page : Check, Please! Bay Area reviews a spot serving traditional Mexican fare in Vallejo, a San Francisco restaurant offering classic Persian flavors, and because the planned third restaurant decided that they did not want to be a part of the show as they were not ready for us to film with them at this time, we are revisiting an eatery serving Italian cuisine in San Francisco.

Thank you for sharing the FB post. Wow, what an easy commercial for them. Shame.

“To solve the mystery and explain in more detail...For the first time in 12 Seasons of Check, Please! Bay Area - that’s more than 150 episodes, 450 guests and eateries - a restaurant pulled out after we had taped the show in the studio because they were facing staff shortages and felt that they would not be able to represent themselves to the fullest. It was the Check, Please! Bay Area producer, Tina Salter's decision to revisit Seven Hills to replace Maureen’s segment and complete the show.
KQED's Check, Please! Bay Area informs each eatery that they have been chosen to be a part of the series and KQED gets their permission for inclusion ahead of our studio taping. Restaurants and guests do not see the show until it is aired or posted by KQED.”

Maybe the third restaurant was burned down from the fire 😢 OR strip club buffet...why didn't they show Maureen's favorite place?

Was it me, or was Maureen Langan totally out of line?! I can bet you that the producers couldn't show the third restaurant for several reasons. (1) Chances are that the other women, in an effort to get back at Maureen's tasteless review, bad mouthed the third restaurant out of spite; after all, who could blame her. (2) Chances are the third restaurant review was far from a review at all, however a cat fight between the two women going off-topic and Lesile spending more time playing mediator. (3) It wouldn't be good PR for the third restaurant. People would likely associate Maureen's character with that of the restaurant and potentially give bad reviews on the actions of one bad apple. All in all, good call on the producers. However, I would have loved to know what the third restaurant was...lol.
