Sandra, you are are sooo creative, and come up with just the right background for your butterflies. This is absolutely beautiful. Anyone would appreciate having this hanging on their wall. Love your art work.
Wow you are so talented, of all the wave painting videos I have watched yours is the best, it’s just so amazing it’s beautiful and so evocative of the sea movement I was glad you changed the fork part, it has inspired me to have a try at this and if mine turns out just a half as beautiful as yours I will be a very happy lady. Please do more seas
So beautiful. I learnt so much about technique from the wave painting, thank you. Thank you. By the way, the sea is completely green in most parts of England. xx
Hi Sandra you sure sure have a couple of lucky little girls getting those pictures. They are both great pieces of art I'm sure they will love and keep them forever. Thanks for the learning experience you give to all of us
Hi Sandra, Happy Birthday to you. I know it's tomorrow. I like to be early. I'll text you again tomorrow. Wishing you the very best life has to offer. You are so kind to everyone, and such an amazing teacher. I have learned so much from you. God Bless.
Please may I ask you a question, I,m going to try to do an ocean wave following your video but can I ask did you pour onto a dry canvas, it looked dry from the video. Thank you for your time
No... at around 32 minutes... I am showing putting a white layer of paint (Artist Loft White Flow Acrylic mixed 1:1 with Floetrol & a bit of water) Even if you just do a skim coat of the wet white ... It does not have to be thick
Hi Sandra I don't know which one I like better they both came up just beautiful I have a question if you could answer be very much appreciated if you don't feel like you should that's okay too I was noticing with some of my blank canvases or actually when I was going to buy more at Joanns cuz they have a great sale right now 70% off but I noticed some of them say their pre gessoed so if I have blank canvases I've never used in my cupboard and they're not pre gessoed do you have to gesso a cotton canvas before you can do any kind of acrylic pour or swipe or anything on it thanks so much Sue
Definitely.. it seals canvas and makes it more water proof, more taut and more likely to adhere with paint pour well... always prime canvas for any style or type of painting... not just pour paintings (unless you buy them preprimed)
@@SandraLett thank you so very much I had no idea so very much appreciate it the type of art that I've always done has been on wood or different surfaces not canvas
Im surprised you say Floetrol, I would have thought that would make it even thinner. I will give it a try, you are an expert at it with such a creative way of manipulating the paint like no one else. Love your work and the descriptions and instruction that you add to the paintings you display. Thanks
Floetrol is creamy, not watery.. so it will just make it more transparent the more you add, but not more watery. I would say to keep as close to the 1:1 ratio of paint to Floetrol. Some people use 1 part paint to 2 parts Floetrol as well...
if you add floetrol it may thicken up depending on how thin the paint is...Because it can also make the COLOR of the paint more translucent in my experience. Adding the thicker paint from the squeeze tubes will help thicken it for sure, but then you may need to add more floetrol depending on the amount you added.
These both turned out so beautiful!! The paper towel was a game changer!!
Thank you Julie

I made the mistake of pouring on un-Gessoed canvas....once. It soaked up the pour and you could see the weave of the canvas through the painted areas.
Hi Sandra, your work is fabulous, how would I fix or thicken paint that is too thin?
You can only add more paint or Floetrol to thicken
