as a viewer, I think the most interesting tournaments are ones that allow more routing options and weapon variety. stuff like starting with a form of death skip so players aren't possibly stuck with fist for half the castle. I think all shortcuts unlocked is way more interesting in something like bingo format also since it opens routs and death skips.
I really like the idea of spellbound except for wingsmash, blocking the combat spells can make for some fun bossbattles, blocking movement is just a chore 😅
