Looks like a wonderful video however it is a bit blurry to follow along.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely look into improving this in the future! Is there anything specific you would like to see in future videos?

Thank you for your awesome content! I watched a previous video of yours where you said Customers is a good option if you don't want to upgrade to Plus. However in Simple Start I don't see the Customer field in the line item grid for Expenses. Is there a way to activate or is it simply not available at that subscription level? I have a client with 4 properties and it's very simple, so I'm hoping to save them some money and not have to use Plus.

Hi! Thanks for watching! Unfortunately Custom is not an option on simple start...but I believe it is on Essentials!! You may need to use journal entries in lieu of other transaction types

Big fan of the content ID. I am taking over the QBO basic account from my accountant of several years and I would like to align my chart of accounts, customer/tenant, location lists to be more in line with your strategy. any chance you would be able to talk through the process for migrating from a very expense heavy chart of accounts as well as the best practices for documenting the changes via footnotes so nothing gets lost when communicating the changes to my tax advisor?

Hi! Thanks for watching and for your question! Yes...we can certainly try to find some time to talk. My schedule is a bit full for the next few weeks....but we can maybe find some time.
I would recommend checking out our end to end training: bit.ly/4bPepHK Real Estate Accounting Bootcamp goes through this exact process step by step. In addition, one of the biggest reasons I'm short on time is that I am consistently communication with and working with students within the course. Definitely worth checking out.
