I also learned that teacher should not limit the learnings of their students and they must provide activities that can activate their student's critical thinking, able to collaborate with other students, becomes creative and also be able to communicate well with their peers and to the teachers. I also feel that this time of pandemic really helps the teachers to see and experienced and differentiates the online class which portray the 21st century than to the traditional. I think there should be a balance when it comes to teaching and learning approach because unlike P.E majors where there should be the teacher centered approach wherein we are taught strictly about the basic fundamental which we must execute properly and not just by watching on UA-cam as our guide.
After watching the video, I've discovered that the 21st century skills focus on the knowledge acquisition, deepening and creation. In broader term, it covers the 4C's which are Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication, and Collaboration in the digital age. These skills are sometimes referred to as higher order skills. That's why acquiring these skills will help shape learners' positive personalities and compete in the real world. In addition, teaching young children today is becoming increasingly difficult. In the face of these challenges, introducing information and communication technology to every schools was seen as a unique opportunity. It provides simulation and multimedia learning environments that enhance student learning and increase the effectiveness of educational systems. Therefore, teachers must be equipped with the latest technical and educational skills so that they can also teach and recommend it to their students.
As I have viewed the video, I have learned about the 4C's of 21st Century skills which are; (1) Critical thinking, as students find solutions to the problems they are facing; (2) Creativity, as students tend to think outside their comfort zones or they think outside the box; (3) Collaboration, as students work with their fellow students; and (4) Communication, as they communicate while conveying each other's ideas. Also, the significance of the four principles of student-centered learning is very reliable to each other to give a deeper learning to students. On the other hand, the absence of one principle may disrupt the balance of the four.

Also as we embrace the changes of today, we must not forget that we should always instill curiousity with our learners because I believe that this will lead them to become critical thinkers, through curiousity, they will explore and discover things by themselves so we are practicing our students to become independent learners. Also the 21st Century Curriculum should be interdisciplinary, project-based and research driven and also it should be student-centered.

Second, in my perspective, competency-based learning requires aligning all activities, performance tasks, and other assignments assigned to students with the subject's competency. Third, anytime, anywhere learning refers to the knowledge we receive outside of the classroom, such as the numerous things we learn on the internet, such as the material uploaded or provided on a variety of websites using our digital devices. 21st century education has a great impact when it comes to learning to the student's.Since,21st century education provide students or help students learn how to learn.Its creativity, collaboration and critical thinking . In addition,21 st century education is not about teaching students how to communicate but also it is about the effective communication to each other .
21st century education brings a huge changes from traditional way of learning into this modern or present way of learning. The 21st century education developed different skill of the students. The classroom are surrounded by different technologies, higher order thinking skills learners, and competent educators and students. The teacher in this century are not like before who was the center of the lesson or teacherteacher-centred learning but in this generation the role of a teachers are the dispenser and a sole source of knowledge and learnings that learned By the students.
The constellation of learner characteristics that equips students to enjoy a high quality of life, work, and relationships by being resilient, intentional, creative, and confident learners who understand the value of collaboration, the relationship between effort and results, and the need to be in the twenty-first century is referred to as 21st century learning.
Defining and delivering 21st century learning is a little messier than that. It’s a little more complicated. A little more nuanced. A whole lot harder to assess. And when done correctly, it creates environments in which engaged students are actively shaping their learning.
The role of educators in the 21st century should be helping every student learn how to learn. It’s inspiring creativity, encouraging collaboration, expecting and rewarding critical thinking, and teaching children not only how to communicate, but also the power of effective communication. These are skills students need to develop in order to thrive in today’s and tomorrow’s dynamic workplace. It's a little more complicated than that to define and deliver 21st-century learning. It's a little trickier this time. It's a little more sophisticated this time. It's a lot more difficult to evaluate. It also generates environments in which interested students actively shape their learning when done right.
Educators' responsibility in the 21st century should be to assist every student in learning how to learn. It instills creativity, promotes teamwork, encourages and rewards critical thinking, and teaches youngsters not only how to communicate, but also how to communicate effectively. These are the abilities that students will need to succeed in today's and tomorrow's dynamic workplaces.

As a future teacher, there is a need to instill curiosity in our learners, encourage them to learn more, and establish independent learning to satisfy themselves with the learning they are curious about. Apart from that, instilling curiosity allows the learner to grasp more knowledge from teachers by asking for more that would develop their critical thinking skills and life skills as they go through thinking outside the box or outside the four corners of the classroom.

On the other hand, the absence of one principle might be insufficient to inculcate learning in a 21st-century classroom. Thus, it would be a challenge for the teacher. With the help of these principles, learning would take place, and a student-teacher environment would be uplifting and rewarding.
Q3.Based on the illustration presented, education before was teacher-centered. Moreover, students are passive, placing little emphasis on students' interests. Aside from that, there is heavy stress on memorization and discipline. Meanwhile, the paradigm of 21st-century education tells us that education has become more student-centered. Students are active learners and engage in collaborative works as teachers facilitate the students. It can be seen that the classroom is interactive compared to the education then. Nowadays, learners are being taught how to utilize their higher-order thinking skills and other essential skills such as literacy and life skills in preparation for their battle in the real world. Thus, the paradigm shift from then to the present is evident from a broader perspective of today's 21st-century education.
My takeaways from this video presentation are that 21st-century education focuses on delivering students with the skills they need to prosper in this modern world, and that we, as future educators, must prepare ourselves for the coming years in order to be well-equipped and ready to face and share knowledge with our future students. The 4'cs were crucial values to hone and make a teacher effective and efficient in a 21st century classroom.
Based on my understanding, the teachers must arouse the learners' curiosity, it's because the more curious the students are about something the more questions they will ask and answers they need to seek. They will also learn and discover new ideas and information. It is much more beneficial for the learners if they are personally discover the answer to their questions it's because they can gain knowledge from it. As a teacher, they must respond appropriately and honestly to their students' inquiries. Using curiosity to pique students' interest is a great way to get them to learn.
The following are my take away from the video:
First would be the metamorphic change our education and curriculum had been through from the past to the present and for the future. Knowing that there are huge changes from the set up, pedagogies, strategies as well from the traditional teacher-centered approach to student-centered approach. From a teacher who functions as the classroom lecturer who is now the facilitator and many more of the 21st century education aspects that was integrated and adopted today.
And lastly is how the 4C's served as an important values in order to hone and make a teacher in a 21st century classroom effective and efficient. This 4C's should be constantly integrated into our attitude as teachers so that we can be that educator who knows how to teach their students the subject matter and contents as well as being a technologically savvy individual wherein we have the right skills and intuitive knowledge to operate modern devices effectively which involves the understanding technical concepts, then knowing how to apply them in different contexts.
As future educators of this 21st century generation, we need to impart to our learners the 4C’s skills in 21st century education which are critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. It is very important for them to gain this skill in order for them to be better individuals in the future. As a future teacher, we also need to master 21st century education skills in order to properly impart these skills to our learners.
The purpose of arousing learners' curiosity is to pique their interest or real want to learn more about something. It allows students to welcome new situations, allowing them to have more opportunities for discovery and fun. If we want pupils to learn, we must first pique their interest in order to assist them develop the new skills, knowledge, and mindsets that we are responsible with instilling in them. If they don't have curiosity, we can teach them but they won't learn.

With this discussion I realized that living in 21st century requires skills to succeed in this new world where change is constant. Globalization, technology, and political concerns have all increased the need for students to have the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in the twenty-first century. So to prepare students in this new world educators thrives to teach 21st century skills (4C's) and uses approaches/methods for learners to learn effectively and live a productive life in the twenty-first century.
The new century of education helps students become more creative, more confident, more knowledgeable, and better prepared to face the real world, with the help of technology, of course. Furthermore, working together or interacting with others teaches them to be more responsible, gather more information, and learn to share their ideas with others. As a result, in order for learners to be successful and achieve their life goals, the 4c's of 21st century education are essential.

In addition, about the 4C's of 21st century learning which is Communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity are considered the four c's and are all skills that are needed in order to succeed in today’s world not only are these skills vital on their own, but when they are combined, students are better able to solve issues, collaborate, and come up with solutions. The important of this 4c's is to important is to help the students deliver their best potential. And as a future teacher we should ensure to assisst our students in developing the confidence to put those skills into a practice.
