Still I have no idea why this sport is nowhere as popular as Football. Many people say due to existence of Ice Hockey. But this sport can develop in Latin America, Asia and Africa where literally do not have the environment to play Ice Hockey.
@naz de hockey is played by people who couldnt cut it and represent their countrys in thier no. 1 sport. For example GB, China, Germany, Netherland, Spain, France, Argentina-football, India/Pakistan-Cricket, NZ-Rugby union, Australia -AFL or rugby league.

No proper marketing. Even the world cup is played in a single stadium.
