I have lived in Nanjing since 2014 and am also married to a Chinese woman, but I don't know how much longer I can deal with living in China with everything that is going on and we were never locked down in Nanjing like you were in Shanghai. We are just locked inside China itself which is not as bad as being locked in a small apartment, but it is extremely frustrating. I have been keeping up with your videos for the last few months and I am just blown away that you are still sane. Keep your head up and hope to see some happier content from you in the future.
Me and husband are from Shanghai, and have been moved to Singapore for 5 years. There was a period of hard time for us to decide where we stay and raise our family. That was a tough time, continuous arguments and tears, involving both families. Now I am happy and I wish you all could sit down and figure out a way, that both of you feel comfortable with.
If I were you I would move out of China at the next first chance, taking as many family members as possible. Why? Xi Jinping is taking the country towards the opposite of open. Like some Chinese say: The "good days" are yet to come!
I don't think there will be another "Shanghai" since the latest policy, from the central gov
14 days for ppl from outside China are now becoming 7 + 3.
For local gov, no racing for restrictions.
I am not joking about the racing. The city I live in is constantly doing that. If the neighboring district has a 3-day rule, the officer will have 3 day + 1 minutes rule to show how he is performing better.

我们在德国买了两年的新房，工期因为新冠造成的各种原因推迟了半年多之后也快要收工啦。幸好买得早，要不新冠和通膨之后的今天我们已经买不起了。其实哪个国家都被新冠造成了各种损失，只是每个人能看到的大多是自己和身边发生的事情。大家买的单可能略有不同而已。重要的是珍惜拥有的，好好生活。
@@fmel1278 德国移民挺容易的，交五年税就可以。德国毕业的大学生更容易些。具体要参见最近的移民政策。长居的话要连续呆十年。

祝福麦克老师早日乔迁新居！其实上海封城两个月，你的新房子正好可以散味道，从现在开始接下去的两周把剩下的工程搞完就可以直接联系搬家公司领包入住了，实际算下来也没有浪费太多时间，因为本来新房子装修完也需要等一段时间把各种有害气体排出去。再次祝您和家人在上海幸福地生活下去。

在上海擁有房子十分讓人羨慕 2003年我在浦東沒買成房子 當時100萬 現在1000多萬 早已經買不起了 將來去上海只能租 市區租不起就去崑山或上海郊區 反正要靠著上海住 可以常常去上海逛

It’s not possible not to get frustrated after such a long time lockdown. American people are always thinking that families come first at any circumstances, that’s why Teacher Mike is still there where his wife is. Since he’s got two houses so far, his most time will be in Shanghai and his teaching program is easy to carry on in there too. Well, good luck to you and your family and don’t forget to talk to your parents in America as well. They miss you 100% for sure!

@@sparkenquito 倒也不用这么想，人一生无非就是事业、家庭两件大事，权衡之后认为中国最合适发展当然会留下，这是务实的选择，如果哪天觉得事业家庭在别的地方能得到更好的发展他离开中国也不奇怪，大部分人脑子里并不想整天绕着政治转，家人健康幸福才是最重要的。对于认认真真脚踏实地生活的人来说，不管是哪国人，给予祝福就好了。

我的装修2019年11月开始，先完成了一，二楼间现浇楼板，春节自然会停工放假，然后2020年2月疫情封锁，2020年5月解封，但之前的装修工头和工人不回来了，只好另外找人，硬装完成后全屋定制家俱和电器网购安装就快了，2020年10月入住，也搞了一年整，也是因为疫情的影响。

上海的房子已经没有金融属性了，就是说哪怕涨再高，也没有流动性，未来什么情况还不能预知，别跟我太爷爷一样，1947年10根金条的买的房，1951年充公
