Awesome vid. I will be installing my Harley Rose kit on my 93 Suzuki Dump next weekend.
Wanted to know did you have to grind down the 2020 springs at all to fit the bottom perch or the top cap?
The bottom appeared to fit well in the video but the top looked as if the outer diameter of the spring was to large.

Great video. I like this method better than some of the others I've seen. I'll be doing the progressives on my '95 Carry very soon.

I was doing this yesterday and hit a problem. Your vid showed me what I was doing incorrectly. Thanks.

@@Joe-bm4wx I didn't remove a couple of the original parts (bump stop, plastic cup, etc) and I couldnt keep the strut rod from pushing into the strut. I have the older progressive springs from Harley and had to do some grinding to get the seated on the lower perch. The inside diameter was 1/32d too tight. Watching your vid put words I've read into picture and everything clicked.....now to tackle the rear air shocks.

Your vid came up about an hour after I had given up. Serendipity.

Great job! Appreciated the detailed instructions as I'm looking to buy the springs from Harley. Noticed your AZ NRA t-shirt. 1995 Hijet owner here in Pinal County (San Tan Valley).

Got my 2" lift and new tires on, adjusted camber, etc and now the poor thing hops down the road like a Bunny Wabbit. Not like just when I hit a bump, it's consistently hopping starting at around 25 kph. New 300# springs on the way but it doesn't seam it will help as I didn't feel the hop on the lift, only once I put on the tires. Any ideas?
