I once found 3 limited edition leica m6 ttl version, the store owner wanted to throw it out and I begged them not to do it, they wanted to give them to me for free and even pay me so they dont have to deal with them. Needless to say, the whole thrift store clapped after I took them

It’s dumb to think he didn’t just buy leicas and is now embarrassed to admit he paid for a camera that does the same thing any canon AE1 can do. That’s how it works. Every friend you’ve ever had tell you got a deal on a Leica is lying. They have a rich dad.
