I am very sorry and I apologize before, but....why does not even a ultra-skilled, intelligent DJ like him understands the fact, that exactly THIS stuff is the very reason, why no single person, who is not a DJ, wants to watch DJ battles anymore for years? Why they never show a image of the audience? Because there is no audience - for a reason...reasons like this set. Even for turntablism/scratch-nerds like me, doing this stuff since 1997, this is barely enjoyable. Yes, it might be highly skilled, but it has NO/zero/nada musical value at all (ironic, that he claims with his word-cuts that this is supposed to be musical)! For non-DJs, this is catastrophic and painful to watch (and even more: hear). I don't wanna hurt anyones feelings, especially fellow turntablists. But please ask your non DJ friends, if they would enjoy this kind of "stuff" (not music) for the whole evening. Guys like us are the Steve Urkels of the DJing scene - and nobody cares, if him or "us" in general, are more skilled than the average Aoki or EDM-DJ or shit... again, sorry - but accept the thruth please. I am happy though, that things like DMC still exist, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone soon at all - because of abstract, non-musical performances like this. The judges (even though they made him win) don't look very impressed either. Why? ;-)

A mastabulatory experience (thx for showing us in 45rpm on +8 pitch. Using cue point pads. Hence no way to show his creativity in sampling different records. I mean he just recorded his own voice over introducing his own dj name. And the tracks played are already all combined one after the other. He doesn’t even have records so why play on a turntable in the first place? Please bring back the art of turntablism.
Sidenote I still wish gambit was competing .. he juggled everything at 45 and as someone myself who ain’t scared of anyone’s juggle game (except craze ) gambits USA final routine needs more play
Phase is good control vinyl technology but for fast scratching you can tell is digital. It has a brittle harshness on the cuts, and a loss of sharpness definition too.
I knew that was 45rpm from cam angle.. this routine sounds like the one I see he did with the gold set up. Musically though I can see the difference in pattern though.. but that boy is consistent in execution.. which might be what sets him apart
