This song kicks ass and the movie it’s attached to is amazing! I love that a cult movie that traumatized me as a child and eventually became one of my favorites as an adult is getting more attention.

You gotta give the band credit for putting in the effort when writing the lyrics, they could've just written a verse or two and then repeated the movies name over and over and over again, but they went all out and wrote a fucking story with a beginning middle and end.
@@TonyGearSolid fun fact: when they got the call to write the song, they never saw any of the movie so they just went with what they knew by the title.
I love how the film manages to stay relevant, even today! And somehow someway, there's actually a decent group of people in my school that like and know about the movie.
I've been wanting to watch it for months and finally did yesterday, I also didn't realize the sequel wasn't out so kind of disappointed but hopefully they can get someone to help finance it lol.
I used to really annoy my family watching this movie because I loved clowns growing up and we had it on VHS so you can imagine at the end rewinding to watch it over again knowing your family have had enough 😅. It’s a shame the sequel was cancelled when it was in the works for so long!
@@phoenixchampion7 I really hope it does but they need to give it to someone who will actually make a good sequel and not milk the name with a shitty movie
years later and all these klowns have separated and have decayed however they do go into hands of private collectors who have them restored glad to be apart of the fanbase
There was a period when I kept seeing all their shows and they would never play this song. It didn't matter anyway because any Dickies show is awesome. Then one night I went to go piss and I heard the intro and my piss wasn't flowing fast enough. Anyhow, finally they played this song and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. I think it was also Leonard's birthday.
Es impresionante que en los 80s, los efectos especiales se sentían más reales y disfrutables que en muchas de las producciones actuales (2022), a pesar de contar con un presupuesto realmente apretado para esos tiempos, unos genios en verdad
Thought I was having a dream when I saw that this was becoming a game. I hope The Dickies are rolling in dough, I would always have this song stuck in my head when I was a kid. It's neat.
Your efforts are appreciated. The fact that this music video has never been included in any of the dvd releases or even any of the Pricy Blu-ray releases is a crime.
It's more a Cult Classic at this point not sure about Underrated, it's beloved by many classic 80s Horror Fans. Just wasn't produced by a big studio at the time but still a Horror Comedy classic!
For a movie that a lot of people could say sucks (not me), it has one of the best songs of any movie I’ve ever seen. I love this song. Can’t get it out of my head.
I’ve always wanted to watch this movie but never did. Since the announcement of the game I’ve been more interested, and I found this song, can’t stop listening to it. It’s pushed me over the edge to finally see this movie.
That is a really good question. In 2001 I bought the MGM VHS with the new (inferior) cover, and I was livid that the music video wasn't included like the version I rented from the video store.
Thank you so much for this. I have the Dickies original album, and I have both the DVD and Bluray of the film, and I didn't even know a film clip existed for the song until tonight! I really appreciate getting the chance to see it!
I was born in 1986, I grew up in the early 90s rewinding the Killer Klowns VHS to listen to this music video at the end of it constantly. 7 year old me dancing to it on the couch
An instant favorite horror movie song :) I also love the fact that it makes perfect sense that one of the clowns finished singing the song because they can mimic voices
I miss these videos when they filmed stuff exclusively for the music video and not only showing clips. Like Freddy Kreuger waking up screaming from a nightmare with a doll in his hands from the Dream warriors video.
I mean who can really debate that the 80s didn't have the best music? Blasted this song in my car at max volume on my way home in heavy traffic and immediately felt better 😂 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've been wanting to find a higher quality version of this video on here for a while now. The only one I could find of the actual music video was terrible quality, and the other videos were all just fake music videos with random footage from the film thrown over top. Thanks.

We saw it at-and with my uncles', I was maybe 10 and my sister was 3.5 years younger than I was 🤣🤣🤣
It's pretty cool how they brought the killer klowns from outer space to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2019 and 2022
Since they announced the new Killer Klown video game I’m obsessed with The Dickies.
we played this note for note spot on in a battle of the bands back in the hair metal days of the late 80s. I’m still bitter we lost.
