i love division 2 but this game is getting increasingly more difficult to the point they are trying to force you to play with other people and i dont like that at all im a solo player and honestly they need to make more content for us loners because i want to get more exotics and better damage builds but in order to get that stuff most of the time you have to play with others i don't want to play with other people i want to be by myself

Well this game is fun! But the grind for gear, man... the grind!!!!!! My best friend bought it for me in a whim and now I'm hooked. I just would like to know how things really work, as I am now in tier 4 but can't do squat with the expertise of weapons and such... It's a good game in 2023!
To be honest, as someone whos played this game since 2021 and the original from day 1 in 2016 i loved the division 1 but i only like the division 2. Theres more to do in D2 than D1 but more isnt always better. I constantly change my gear and guns but theres too much choice but using the same gear gets boring but i cant find a gear or gun that works. I think each mission requires a different set up for different situations and thats why i cant decide what gear or gun to use. The only thing that i found worth comkng back for is to do the manhunts from year 1 and onwards till i get to where i started the game. I remember Brooklyn from the first game but thag part wasnt very big, google maps shows it to be 180 km2, so its a pretty big area and if its all of brooklyn as big as wony its worth playing but ill wait till someone else plays it first. Is it a free dlc?
i played the division 1 back when ubisoft released it, but unfortunately i had to stop playing many years ago because my PS4 died. Despite everything, I really enjoyed the game, and after watching this vid i really want to play the division 2, thx for the info!

Once you've gotten through the story you can farm up a PvP build pretty quick but unless you also have the expansion the DZ will be pretty quiet, with the expansion increasing your level to 40 and most players will be in the level 40 DZ at this point.
Haven't played division 2 since faye lau mission, been thinking about it and was curious to see if the game was still a mess and dead with a skeleton crew of devs or if they have pickup their shit up, seems they've somewhat picked their shit up and I want a refreshing game, watching this vid you've convinced me to pick it back up, so thank you for that

I've been division 1 addicted since days one, and since day one in division 2 I've been playing for the past 5 years, and am crazy about this franchise But after all this years I think division community need a real new game, we've been teased for heart land and resurgence for long time and am tired of waiting, currently am a bit burned out of the division Since the developers inspired by Diablo game, and recently Diablo 4 came out am enjoying the hell of the game, it's giving me the vibe and the feeling of grinding, loot, and inventory management same as the division I'll am staying away currently away from the division and giving all the time for Diablo 4 I might come back when DLC drop or when a new game come

They've done a bunch of server maintenance lately that's helped and there's a massive patch on it's way called Project Resolve which will be working on stability, the health of the game and a load more.
Honestly, the game is boring right now. Ive played every mode, multiple times, done the raids, done the incursion, I have builds and all the exotics I actually want, Ive played and gone manhunt, and seasons that used to be Targets for elimination are now rescue missions, its just dull and boring. No point in farming proficiency for anything, as every season they come out with something new to nurf the last seasons gear, so cant be bothered leveling my proficiency to 23, and why would I want to, as PvP was abandoned years ago,and cheaters not being dealt with killed any desire to continue playing in the dz, which is the reason I got the game on 2 different consoles to begin with. Before anyone is like, well did you run new characters through? Yes! Minimum of 10 between 2 different consoles. The game is just boring to me, and lacks the immersion of Div 1, which I loved. Ever since it launched, Division 2 has done nothing for but give usone garbage dlc after another, ignoring the plea to the devs to release survival, they have snubbed off their pvp player base in favor of casuals who didn't keep the franchise alive, have catered to cheating streamers (I wont name names), and strung us along with promises of heartland, so at this point, no, I dont reccommend anyone waste their time returning or playing this game, unless you have never played Div 2 at all.
That’s the name of the game. You gotta get a good build going. Always felt like enemies were spongy for me, took me realizing i’d never actually put the energy in to building a good setup
This game would have very good potential in another developer’s hands ha if they can not get it right in d2 what make people think that d3 will be any difference
Do you guys still experience crashing issues when playing this game in Steam client? I bought it last September, but due to crashing issues I've encountered multiple times, I decided to refund it. But now, reviews are a little bit positive, I'm thinking of buying it back again. But I'm hesitant about the crashing issues. Want to confirm if it still happens.
it would be good if Ubisoft removed their clan system I would have preferred that they make another system because of the clans it's impossible to find games in dark zone missions other raid activity frankly they could have opted for another madness it is just an example I play with a team there are only 4 in the team an example I can create my symbol of me and my team to say that we are together in the team because the problem everyone is doing clans and the problem is it's difficult to find people in servers and people will tell me no if you follow my logic if there are clans if I want to find players but I'm going to go to clans you see but the matchmaking is a bit difficult to find players
I want to keep playing but my internet sometime can spiked, and division 2 network is so sensitive even 1-2 second spike cause the game to throw me back to main menu, this is most annoying when iam in the middle of "dungeon"
so my question as a returning player is, should I just start over with a new character or play with my existing character? I haven't played the game since I finished the dlc campaign.
If your a solo player just stay away lol the game will get to hard solo and you will miss out on higher damage builds. Unless you have friends or family that play I do not recommended this
I have to hard disagree. These days I primarily play solo, I've farmed all of my builds myself, pretty much only play on Heroic and have soloed most of the Legendary missions. The only bottleneck to solo play is the Raids and Incursion.

Division 2 is a downgrade more to do but it quickly gets boring content is good the 1st time round but gets old very fast raids are good takes a ton of grinding to get to that stage overall I 100% wouldn't advise anyone to pick it up until devs put care into the franchise div 3 mabe?
i got through the entire story and stopped after it got to the point where I was having to simply grind shd levels and grind for miniscule bonuses to my gear. there was no progression after you get a basic set of armor at max lvl with the correct traits (not even good %) Like they really needed to find a way of providing more progression other than leveling up the traits that take months to get the materials for or grinding shd levels with no solid EXP farm and thousands of hours required to get the bonuses needed
Sadly not and I don't think it ever will be, the Devs mentioned the games back end was build before cross platform was becoming mainstream so it would be a difficult or impossible task to implement it.

After the stovepipe season, I stopped Playing also Massive pulling that DIA and pleasing the transgender/subhuman community that crossed the line imv and caused me never return to any ubisoft game Also i play Arma 3: SOG Prairie Fire & alot of strategy gaming mainly I am moving to pc/where i started gaming back in the day/2004, i play the all ubisoft games on console & i have a new rule when i moved to pc gaming “I will stop supporting gaming companies that focus on politics and greed over quality and creativity” Meaning ubisoft = Greedy & Subhuman lovers
TD1 was a fantastic game, one of my top 3. TD2 is absolutely dog water. It all boils down to the dev team, they are a bunch of crying ass kids. Done with that whole franchise.

I remember playing the Division 1 and really liking the atmosphere of the game overall.
The atmosphere is different here due to the Div2 being set in summer, instead of winter but it still have a great overall atmosphere.

The GameBreaker form me, is high level mobs bullet-spongines. Takes out all the fun in late game imho. A shame really.

Existing it's pretty hard to find players to matchmake with at lower levels least that's my experience
