    Considering the function of the big toe and how they get crushed by "normal" shoes, would you ever switch to barefoot shoes, even lifting shoes with a proper fit? More for closed chain exercises.

    Hi Ben, if Pendulum is a mix between a squat and a leg ext, wouldn't be redundant to do both leg ext and pendulum?

    Would you say the leg ext have any tension on the lenghtened position? I like to do some partials on them and i feel some stretch maybe its my bro acience

      thanks for watching and for the support :) they will not fully stretch all of the quads, especially the rectus femoris (the one that also crosses the hip), but they get the single joint quads pretty close to fully stretched, especially if you have a leg extension that allows you a lot of clearance. the pendulum squat trains the single joint quads in their fully stretched position, which is why i also include those instead of 6 sets of just leg extension.

      @@The_Modern_Meathead my quad day is pretty much pendulums and leg ext twice a week
      Its a muscle group i want to bring up! The ratio of sets would you say its more towards the squat pattern?
