I really miss the way Alfred Street use to record the service. They use to get right down to business which made it more conducive to sharing the message with others and listening to the message again on the way to work. Now in 2024 after sitting through copious announcements for 40 mins most don't have the patience to wait to hear the message for 20 mins at the very end. Please reconsider and make the recordings in this format again. Thank you.

Yes indeed .The pandemic allowed me to fellowship online and I was referred to Pastor Howard John Wesley and the rest is history.3 years later and from Delaware I get a sermon from this annointed vessel atleast 4 times a week! And I still go to my church.Looking forward to visiting one sunday

I don't know why people are so adverse about hearing politics from the pulpit because last time i checked, God has a word for every aspect of our lives to include politics. This man's sermons are awesome. If those in which we don't agree theologically, it forces me to go back and reread, restudy and pray more to God for better understanding because i know and understand that I don't know it all and what i think to be true just might be wrong. Javier, greetings in the name of our Lord. I am NOT calling you out in any way. In Pastor Wesley's "Sins of Sodom" sermon you raised the scepter of the essential problem of politics in a sermon. In this sermon you championed the absence of politics. My fellow believer; the scriptures are LOADED with politics. In Romans 13, Paul champions the politics of Rome, going as far as to call Romans' political leaders as "minister of God". In about 5/6 years those "ministers of God" killed Paul and countless Christians in the city of Rome as ordered by the chief politician of Rome, the Emperor Nero. Revelation is a full-throttled attack on the political structure of Rome. The Emperor is a "dragon"...a "beast" , etc. It was that very political structure that imprisoned John on Patmos. Roman political power attacked Christianity and John's counter-attack was that "soon" (note Revelation 1) that God would destroy/replace the political power of this earthly kingdom with a new heaven and a new earth. The ministry of our Lord is LOADED with politics. When Jesus in apocalyptic sentiments says, "Repent for the kingdom of God is @ hand", that is an affront to the political kingdom that subjected Him and His fellow Jews; Rome. When He cleansed the Temple; he was attacking the political power of Judaism that had attached itself to Roman political power. The Temple was the center of Jewry's political life. The high priest was "appointed by Rome". They co-operated with the very political power, Rome that oppressed their own people. Remember what Pilate placed on Jesus' cross..."King of the Jews". Javier, that is a political statement against any 1st century Jew who dare rise up against Rome. Again, I am NOT calling you out. Might I suggest that you read, "The Politics of Jesus", by Rev.Dr. Obery Hendricks an ordained Elder in the A.M.E.Church who has a Ph. D. from Princeton and teaches @ Columbia. P2nd, I am afraid that my point of view when I mention politics is much different than yours. I know that based on my super short sentence its impossible to grasp what I meant. Maybe next time I could explainmyself but I would hate to do that as I feel that I would take away from what I consider a great sermon.
3rd there are other videos that I have seen from this man of GOD that his political views are expressed and the one-sidedness or lack of facts turns a great sermon into an just OK sermon. In some cases it could either turn off the viewer and or the person being led to listen/watch. For more clarity I am referring to personal opinion(s) that do not help the sermon because the Bible does not need our political opinion to do what it was set out to do.
