Great attention to detail and a great build/finish.
It turned out great 👏
Beautiful, beautiful model.... :) :) I may have to get that etched set, it really made a difference to the cockpit as well.. :)
Awesome build.I love it.I plan to get the same kit for my colection
Great work on this little horrible kit, You turned it into a very nice Safir
What a lovely little kit. Outstanding work, Tom.
Well Done 👍🏻
Está muito bonito! Parabéns! O plastimodelista que rebaixa relevo é um intrépido.
That is an excellent built of a classic Heller kit. Well done.
I picked up the same kit at Telford last year.
Modeling magic lesson. Thanks Tom for sharing your knowledge and hard work.
A thoroughly well made video of an excellent build. It helped me see what paints and thinners work together. Lacquer based confuses me? The Mr.Color thinners works with Tamiya so im guessing the thinner is just acrylic( maybe :-/) Just started becoming interested in trainer aircraft after seeing them do aerobatics at Airshows. Not as dynamic as military aircraft but very colourful, reliable and what all the pilots start in. Heller though a bit pants by todays standard do such an interesting range. Impressed with your patience on the panel lines and canopy. Did you dip the canopy in ' Future/Pledge after your great efforts with polishing? Well done on the model and what an enjoyable and educational video. I salute you :-)
Thank you, I am really pleased that you enjoyed it! I don't usually use any kind of coating on the transparencies these days as I have experienced that the masking tape sometimes rips off the coating and it is a very annoying repair job.
Nice build! What colors did you use in the cockpit?
Thank you! To be honest, I pretty much just winged it. Some combinations of industrial greens. Almost nothing can be seen through the windows anyway.
Very nice, the safir is a very nice plane in my opinion. I got to see 2 sk50s take off at västerås flygmuseum and got it on video.
Here is that video in case you find it interesting.
