Best video yet on UA-cam for Honda saddlebags. I usually don't bother with videos that have no talking but you let the video say everything that needs to be said. Thank you for showing the actual product, the installation and final product,.Very thorough video that was desperately needed. Not only will I be getting these bags but I'm subbing too. I have the exact same bike and hopefully I can look forward to more videos.

Can you duplicate the OEM left one on the right side? Would it be possible if there isn’t a exhaust pipe in the way?
Yep, it’s been done. Just swap the bolt guide to the other end.
FIRST, get rid of that "baloney tube" of an exhaust pipe!
SECOND, get another left side bag-to put on the right hand side. This will make the Rebel 500 appearance to be balanced from the back end! Great project and it'll be a good investment of time and money to have them on the motorcycle! Doug🏍️👍❤️🦅

Only difficult part are removing the bolt from factory.
Can the passenger still sit comfortably? Do the bags interfere in any way?
They might graze you peg depending on your height.
I'd prefer the 10L saddle bag for both sides. I know it's been asked before but I need to know for sure. Would the smaller 10L right side saddlebag also work for the left side?
It would make sense but I'd hate to order it and be wrong.

I just tried it and it works. The smaller bag can be on the left side. Just swap the guide bolts.

I'm looking for a police motorcycle type windshield but can't seem to locate one. Any ideas? I would like it to be kinda tall and sorta straight-up rather than angled back towards the driver. I also just ordered T-Rex racing engine guards for the bike. Wish you were closer to help me do the install.

I haven’t looked for that style wind shield but you might want to start with Puig or Memphis shades. Glad your enjoying the content.
is there a chance to secure the bags so noone can steal them from my bike while i´m on a walk ?
I use a lock I bought on Amazon for my rebel 1100. It goes through the zipper. It not that secure but good enough for quick trips. I have a video of it for my 1100.
Put mine on yesterday but the left bag (large) doesn’t attach properly. Not sure why!
Is it hard to attach or it doesn’t attach at all? Make sure the bold guide is in the right location. I can also see the plastic on the bag being warped, you may need to return and exchange it.

It’s just a click fit unfortunately. Yes if people know they can run off with them. I bought an Amazon lock and use it for long term parking. I have a video for it for my rebel 1100 which are basically the same bags.

Its just the bags, although I've never tested to see if the brackets are interchangeable.
Brackets are not interchangeable. I know from experience. 😂

Is this compatible with a 2018 rebel 300?
I just checked Honda’s website and the product number for the mounts seem to be the same for 300 and 500.
This saddle bag is 100% waterproof ?
That’s a good question. They seem to be but I’ve never really gotten them wet. I may test it out and let you know.
