Thanks Dred FX, the matrix exercise makes a lot of sense, best I've seen. No matter how much you think you know there is always room for improvement. Thanks
Plenty information there Rob, It is good to do some practice before doing any artwork and I mean minutes before I begin committing to the artwork itself. Great tuition, thank You.
Freehand training is essential for me considering i do not like to use stencils or shields in my work. I like the challenge of figuring out how to do it without extra tools. If i had to do something and didnt have those tools i wouldnt be able to pull off what i need to and for me that is a crutch. I also draw portraits in ballpoint pen without pencil foundations so i guess im not very common when it comes to freehand ability.
Thank U Dred FX ... I've been trying to figure out the airbrushing for approx 4-5 yrs, but no luck- just aggravation so I went back to basics and saw your video and the 5 minute mark with RELAXING and getting the touch with air down and sliding back (versus pushing air trigger down hard and quickly trying to get trigger slid back as fast as I can ) equals CONTROL ! what a DIFFERENCE ! Again Thanks 1
Amen to that brother this information is priceless was getting a lot of spidering at the start but sussed out far to much air and far to thin practse these exercises folks believe me boring but helps he's so right it's a must 👌👌👌
thanks ...ok, first mistake, buying budget airbrushes and compressor, second mistake, stencils . third mistake ish, a combination of airbrush and cheap paints, rather than just using airbrush paints 🤪. still waiting on delivery of the ps270 ,looking forward to using a brush with a decent trigger and actually having a idea when the paint will come out
Hi mate great tips video, as a beginner i find myself getting frustrated over reduction ratios and pressure, i have a ps771 and find it hard to get golden hfa carbon black for eg to flow good as it states not to reduce with more than 20% water !!...any advise or video appreciated 👍
Off topic I know, but anyone heard anything lately from Grant over at Grants Smart Repairs? I know some of you guys are friends of his and I just wondered if he's OK as no videos from him for last couple of months.

Hi have you tryed the golden Flow improver that will make the opaque go to a transparent the more you add 😉 you can mix water and that to your paint
@@dredfxcustompaint is that the one called high flow medium ?
Sorry mate, thanks for reply, is that the one called high flow medium ? If so does that also reduce viscosity to aid flow
@@scoie276 yes it does works a treat
Ok thanks for reply
