Spent alot of great time up there between Winchester Bay and Florence. Great memories and good to see again
Great video! We were at Winchester for 16 days in October, and the weather was absolutely amazing!! We are going for Christmas as well, and can't wait!

One climb I did in a corvair powered rail I side faced to much went to far towards tree line at close to 70 mph made a drastic left turn clide moment left front tire was last to leave the dune in a complete hell icopter with 4 complete rotations over the top and into a hole on the other side!
Only damage !
Blown 16.50 and a steering wheel bent into a direction of the spin !

The climb at 17:52 in 1997 was trees and a fence the forest service had through the tree line no one could climb !
Then around 98 /99 some how the fence just was gone !
As they made there first climb it was very steep nothing like today !
Then it was a challenge at that point where you went into the tree part of your climb
You had to cut speed and power to dodge a pine tree !
Then shortly after that the tree came missing ?
Today all the sand sitting at the bottom is that hill now !
A ramp !
The view at the top is amazing
But so different and gone is the Top !
Do miss that 97 view 🇺🇸

I went around the same time as you 3 years ago, just a couple weeks before. First time going and now I go every year. Its weird seeing some of the areas exactly how they were my first time.
It's amazing out there, we come back every single year and it never gets old.

Great video! As an Oregon rider, I love it. Could I suggest doing a vlog type of video? I'm not the biggest fan of the music. But with your crew you have I think you could make a pretty good vlog.

Nice bike. I have an 09. Do a walk around on it. How you like them Fast Flex handlebars? I love them. I’m in Vegas. Need to visit Oregon for sure. So beautiful. Reminds me of Coral Pink in S. Utah. Just sold my Yxz sxs. About to rebuild the yfz. Can’t wait to ride and be a Goon.
I like them a lot!!! They definitly smooth out the ride paired with the fox float's. A walkaround is in the works, there's a ton of cool parts on this bike!

Hoping to visit Oregon Dunes this summer. I have never been. Where is the best place to bring the toy hauler and ride?
That's awesome! I'd suggest Winchester Bay or Coos Bay, there is a variety of places you can take your toy hauler, but we prefer camping right on the sand, you do have to reserve a spot before you come. This particular place in the video is called "Umpqua Sand Camping" and we usually reserve a spot online ahead of time.
What happened when it died? I have a raptor 700, getting an idea of what problems I may encounter. I love riding the oregon dunes. I'm more familiar with florence and sand lake. Want to go to the other places
The piston cracked in half lol. Definitely should visit Winchester Bay and Coos Bay as well! Awesome places to ride!
