- Many of you have asked for an updated collection tour video. Well, here it is! My collection hasn't changed very much, to be honest! I'm in dire need of space! I love that you collect vintage AND new. Madame Alexander dolls are beautiful, I think they're works of art . Wish I had more.

During the week of May 4th Lego gave away a really nice version of R2D2 (Lego 30611). You can find it on eBay between $15-$30. Also the Disney store is selling many of its Star Wars Elite Series Die Cast characters for $10. At one point they were $6.

You have a good start, for a "beginner". I'm trying to figure out where to put mine, there are so many. My first doll is a new doll on the market. Ideal Doll and Novelty Company had begun using vinyl for the heads of their dolls, and a new process of rooting hair for a doll that had always been a good seller since her "birth" in 1936. I love this doll so much that I rock it to sleep each night and when I have my night prayers, my only request is that Betsy-Wetsy will somehow become real. The year that Santa left her under the tree is 1956. I was 3 months old, and 25 years later, I do receive my only request. She and I spent her childhood collecting dolls and although she has stopped for the most part, she has a daughter who is now interested. It has been close to 62 years since Betsy Wetsy came and started my collection.

Matty Collector made the large Ghostbuster figures a few years back.
