    Amsa comes to the US like 3 times a year only to beat every top player one by one its amazing.
    This year he has beaten players such as: Plup, Chudat, Druggedfox, Crush, Mang0 (1 game) and many more.
    Amsa and Axe truly are the saviors of melee

      And I would say the most notable run he's had was Apex 2015. He ran through Lucky, Zhu, SFAT, Kirbykaze, and took Mang0 to game 5

      If only you could have known then how much better 2018 aMSa would be. XD

    Reasons aMSa plays so well:
    1) He's a God
    2) As made obvious by the commentators, nobody knows how the hell Yoshi works

    Jesus christ please someone tell Lovage that every single one of those missed grabs was aMSa parrying Sheik's grab.

    • @KruptPolitician
      @KruptPolitician 7 років тому +1

      PichuLord uhhh he was down tilting sheiks shield and the push back is outside of her grab range and he gets a grab for him going for a shield grab. Works exactly the same on Marth.

    • @mymyscellany
      @mymyscellany 7 років тому +10

      Nope. Advance frame by frame. Amsa clearly parries plup's grab five or six times.

    • @peeper1119
      @peeper1119 7 років тому

      PichuLord it's not actually a parry, yoshi can actually powershield grabs, and thats what aMSa did

    • @mymyscellany
      @mymyscellany 7 років тому +1

      Nope : p Taking advantage of Yoshi's invincibility frames (not intangibility frames) is the definition of a parry- which is what amsa does here.

    • @mgyoshi
      @mgyoshi 7 років тому +1

      its definitely a parry grab. I use it as well

    Basically you can't grab Yoshi out of shield for like 1 or 2 frames after it does downtilt and shields I believe. Good stuff Amsa!

    • @127twilson
      @127twilson 7 років тому

      when yoshi down tilts on shiek's shield and marth's shield it forces the shiek or marth to shield grab from a glitch in the game i believe

    • @1000g2g3g4g800999
      @1000g2g3g4g800999 7 років тому

      Dtilt is safe because it's low lag and long range. Sheik tries to grab too late, aMSa does parry grab.

    He's doing fair early percents because it's huge, powerful, beats CC, and combos into good things.

    He's parrying. He's parrying the grabs. That's why Plup keeps whiffing them.

      What's really interesting is that this actually isn't the first time they've played each other in tournament. I believe Plup beat him at Pound 2016.

    During yoshis powershield window he cannot be grabbed. Yoshi can essentially powershield and parry grabs

    This mu is very winnable for sheik but you actually have to know how to play the mu and play it a certain way. m2k really studied amsa when he knew he would play him in the runback and made the mu look pretty bad.

    • @hitechnic7805
      @hitechnic7805 7 років тому +5

      ST More than just winnable, it's actually one of Yoshi's worst matchups. People just don't know how to properly abuse Yoshi's weaknesses with her

    First!

    • @samuelvibritannia4831
      @samuelvibritannia4831 7 років тому +2

      "First!" He cries. Yet he takes no time to contemplate. Why does he derive satisfaction from this achievement? Has he done anything truly remarkable? Does this comment better his character, humanity, or help him reach his long term goals? Truly he has not given thought to the concept that perhaps there is no satisfaction to be had from being first to comment on a video when so few end up commenting. Nay, when commenting first on a video carries no intrinsic value! In fact, nothing truly has intrinsic value. We exist only to suffer. His temporary triumph will leave him before long, and the anguish of existence will return to the background of his mind. And yet, he drudges on, basking temporarily in the shallow satisfaction that he has, in hopes that somehow, even if temporarily, it will fill the hollow void that exists in all of us. And so he clings to the feeling, that sweet and fleeting sentiment that helps him create a structure in the shapeless cold world he inevitably wanders through.
