Hi Susan, it is a long story of a miracle done by Saint Rafqa for a Muslim woman. (Saint Rafqa did 3 miracles for her) I will try to briefly explain.
This Muslim woman works in the house of the older Christian lady (her employer)
The Muslim woman had sever bleeding for 2 months and went to see the doctor who did blood tests and several other tests and told her that she had leukemia (cancer in the blood) and problems in the gallbladder that requires surgery.
She told her employer of her test, her employer who is a strong believer in Saint Rafqa told her to eat sand collected from the tomb of our Saint (and that she should have faith that she will be cured). She took and ate the sand and later felt sever cold all over her body. She told her employer who went to pray for her next to the altar in her house and while they were praying the Muslim lady saw the chair moving and a lady with black rope entered and kneeled in-front of the altar and prayed with them, this is where she knew that She Was our Saint Rafqa. She told her Employer what she felt and saw and her employer told her that Saint Rafqa cured her.
briefly, she went to Syria to Do the surgery because she cannot afford the surgery in Lebanon:
They discovered that she is cancer free although her blood is white
Saint Rafqa appeared to her and told her that She Will not leave her during surgery (She Felt the Hands of the Saint holding her hand during the surgery)
She had full recovery and went back to Lebanon.
Now this is the good story, in Lebanon she had another severe bleeding (red blood) although her blood is white, she went to the OBGYN and told her that she has a huge Uterus fibroid and other small ones causing her to bleed and she needs a surgery to remove it.
At night while she was sleeping she woke up sweating a lot and saw the Saint beside her bed, she tried to talk to her husband who was sleeping next to her but her voice was not heard. She felt something heavy on her chest and needed to sleep. She later woke up to see that her dress was not covering her and she touched her stomach to see a lot of blood all over her body. She felt scared and went to a new doctor (her doctor was travelling) who examined her and told her that this is normal after having a surgery to remove the Fibroids. She told him that she did not do a surgery.
Anyway, he asked her to go see her own doctor who diagnosed her with the Fibroids. So she went to see him after his return to see his opinion. She went to him and told him to check her Fibroids, he told her that there is no Fibrosis anymore and asked her which doctor did the surgery because it looks very clean and professional. She told him that no one did the surgery and told him the whole story of Saint Rafqa’s miracle for her.
She presented all her medical documents to the monastery.
