Ha, very interesting version of "Angels We Have Heard On High" at the end there. SIDlab looks great. I like the little waveform visualizations. And I really liked seeing the Minimoog in action, that's really cool you have one (and know how to operate it!). I love the sounds it can make. I've got several W. Carlos albums.
Yes, of course, Wendy did her early work on the Moog modular which I will begin to feature in an upcoming video (sync, then envelopes, then filters); later, Wendy got into digital synths, and the GDS, primarily. I exchanged email with Wendy years ago; as it turns out, my close friend's Father knew her personally. As for the Minimoog, I remember the first time I walked up to one as a kid and couldn't get it to make any useful sounds... they are actually quite primitive and can be puzzling when not in good working order LOL. If you notice in the video, I had to flick the OSC modulation switch a few times as it sometimes doesn't 'take'. As well, mine has a capacitance issue on the pitch bend circuit but I'm familiar with these faults. It's no surprise that more highly integrated synths such as the Dave Smith's efforts with Curtis chips and Japanese synths ruled the day through the 80s. We are lucky to still have SIDs to play with!
