+Ridhwan Kaiser I actually found a theory that I really like, if only because it makes the act justifiable. It's that the food on the Maw only causes one to get hungrier and is really only filling when eaten in large quantities, hence why the guests are constantly shoveling food into their mouths and seemingly never having enough.
