Totally disagree. I'm from South Georgia, the athletes are bigger and faster. I'm a Georgia fan, and we welcome him. But football in the south is different. You have to see it, I visited Windsor, and it's like day and night.
@@jasonking7250he won’t be starting this upcoming year anyways or probably the next with Gunnar most likely getting a year after beck. He’ll have 1-2 years of practicing against one of the best defenses in football to get ready. He’s got all the tools
@@jasonking7250and yes you’re more likely to find better players at bigger schools but it doesn’t mean everything. You never know how good a kid really is until he gets on campus
That's a very rare quick release and arm strength for a prep kid. He's got all the potential to be a future nfl qb - the physical tools are there and he'll put on another 10-20 pounds on his frame over time.
See a lot of people saying, “That is just CT level talent”. I promise you it’s the same level of ball you would see ANYWHERE in the south. In this game alone you have seniors signed to play at: Georgia, Stanford, Wake Forest, USC, PSU, South Carolina, Virginia, Duke. Many underclassmen signed to similar schools.
Massaxhusetts football is underrated. This kid plays in Connecticut right now but he played his first 3 years in Massachusetts. Mike Sainristil just won the national championship for michigan and he's from Mass. its such an under-recruited region
That’s the smallest crowd I’ve ever seen at a high school game. Going from CT to GA high school competition is a huge jump let alone to the SEC. Insane scouting department to find a guy in CT.

It’s not a HS. He plays at a boarding prep school with 400 students total. The kids he plays with and against are from all different states so there’s little family attendance and no local supporters. It’s just a different atmosphere. As for competition I’d say it’s not a huge difference from most high level high school. Most of the kids playing Prep School were standouts at their local school and go to prep school to play similar competition. It’s like comparing a High Level AAU team to any High School team.
One thing is certain, Kirby doesn’t give a crap about who’s recruiting ranking was higher in high school. Once you get on campus, you put in the work and outperform a five star guy, you’ll start. There are many, many examples of that over the years. He’s got just as much a chance to start as anyone. Will he do what it takes to be the starter once he’s here? That’s the question. The fact that he’s remained committed shows he’s not scared of competition. You definitely want that mindset.
That competition between Stockton, Puglisi and Raiola is gonna be fun in the Spring and Summer of '25 with Beck moving on to the NFL after the '24 season
He'll decommit and i dont blame the kid. Only one qb can play unlike other positions so why make your task harder by joining the #1 qb and fan favorite
Ill be surprised if if doesn't decommit and look for another good program who will be in love with him like Georgia fans are in love with Dylan Raiola. Why take the hardest road when only 1 qb can play? But because of the portal a qb can take a chance and transfer just like Brock Vandergrift will after the season and still have two years of eligibility to step in and play for a program who needs a qb to step right in and win the starting spot
Maybe he isn’t scared of competition and has the confidence to know that he can win the job. Also, the best guy will win the job and that has nothing to do with how many stars the kid has in HS. Look at Stetson Bennett who beat out a five and a four star to win two Nattys

We will end up losing 1 or 2 quarterbacks in the next year or 2 Because you can't have that many highly rated thoroughbreds and pretend likeThey will all stay.

Wow! Puglisi is the real deal. He's got a laser arm.
i don't care what state he's from or what the talent level is around him, the kid has a damn howitzer for an arm.

I would love to see some "Touch" passes from Ryan.
Brooks Austin mentioned the same thing when watching his tape. Basically the opposite of Raiola in that regard.
