SDGs and Indigenous Peoples - English version

This animation video, titled “Leave No One Behind - SDGs and Indigenous Peoples”, aims to introduce what is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for indigenous peoples. In the video, you will also find some of the demands of indigenous peoples across the world to make the 2030 Agenda slogan “Leave No One Behind” a reality and what IPs can contribute to ensure that the Goals are achieved without indigenous peoples being left behind. The video is produced by AIPP in partnership with the Digital Mixes and was launched during AIPP 7th General Assembly in September 2016.

This video actually talks about one of the most important issues in our society that often gets overshadowed by other issues. It's nice to know that there are things being done to help the indigenous people of the world.

Please consider turning on "Community contributions" under advanced settings. Currently, this video has autogenerated subtitles in English. If you turn on "Community contributions", one could edit the autogenerated subtitles (there are a number of errors -- even though UA-cam does an impressive job at autogenerating subtitles). Once an edited version of the English subtitles are created, community contributors can volunteer to provide translations into their own languages. We have found that it is best to have each subtitle include one complete thought or sentence.
