    Oh no my goat don’t run out of time for all your video ideas that would be tragic. The AA blessing is just insane though truly, cool runs. Hopefully grit continues to provide sandbox-esque opportunities like this rather than forcing a niche down our throat.
    Have you had any success with xueyi? Idk if you’ve tried her on swarm in this MoC 11 but I fear I just don’t know how to use her I can’t get anywhere.
    Also…rumors of the return of DDD…

      Nope, haven't had the time to try it yet. But it's not too promising mainly because I'm not sure if Fugue provides enough additional toughness

    The yapping about Nihilities brings up a neat point to discuss. Essentially, what is the design philosophy for the Nihility class in HSR?
    In other gacha games, debuffers are red-headed stepchildren. I'll use Fate/Grand Order as an example, since I've played it for close to a decade. In FGO, debuffs are simply always worse. Daily activity consists of farming 3 waves of distinct enemies, and debuffs go away when enemies die. Out of the three 'archetypes' the game has, the premier buffer for the Quick type, Skadi, was powercrept by herself in a swimsuit simply by swapping over her 30% debuffs to more buffs. Debuffs only have parity if you are facing enemies who are very strong and don't fold before the debuffs run out, but such enemies tend to be debuff resistant in the first place! It's not a great place to be.
    HSR, meanwhile, has debuffs in a somewhat similar position...but with caveats. Due to EHR existing, we CAN more or less guarantee debuffs landing even against tough opposition, making them very good against bosses. However, the issue of little carryover between enemies remains. This is, in theory, supposed to be compensated by the fact debuffs face little stat dilution -- the debuffs nihilities inflict (Vulnerability, Defense Shred, resistance shred/penetration) do not usually enter the Harmonies' power budget until you start adding in eidolons. This makes it so a Nihility ends up being better than a Harmony once you hit saturation point on your standard buff stats (Mainstat, usually ATK; Crit Damage; And Damage Up), which is happening surprisingly fast these days with Robin existing. Given that, being less 'sticky' can be a valid tradeoff, but I think Jiaoqiu (and to a lesser extent, Fugue) has demonstrated that there's a real market for a sticky debuffer, because losing those 'new bracket' buffs can absolutely ruin your damage profile. I think what the game wants to do with Nihilities right now is make them a sort of 'dedicated sub-dps' class who offers damage boosts orthogonal to the usual harmony powerups, and which makes up the difference in buff potency by leveraging their own boosts and those of harmonies to pump their own damage. We know this can be successful in theory (Hunt March, Moze and Topaz are shining examples of how this setup can work) but we don't actually have a true sub DPS nihility yet -- Silver Wolf turned out to be a bust and Jiaoqiu just hits too soft unless he's E2. Do you think we might see an unit that fulfills both sides of Nihility's promise in 3.X?

      i was thinking about the lack of a sub dps in this game aswell, especially when in genshin its almost mandatory (fischl xiangling xingqiu yelan.. even furina to some extent) obviously i dont want them to control hsr like they do in genshin, but atleast have some good ones that dont have their entire dps backloaded into their ult (looking at you fugue)

      Like the other guy said, Anaxa may be able to apply Dissociation debuff from SU, which is a fixed % HP damage. That should make him qualify as a sub dps and it's also futureproof because it scales with enemy HP

      @@hurmmmmphhhammlack of sub dps is CRAZY. follow-up is all about everybody doing damage, break is all about everybody doing damage, DoT is about kafka enabling black swan-2 DPS, 3 with e2 jiaoqiu (goated).
      the ONLY archetype where the entire team isnt contributing to damage, is hypercarry. I get the game has issues but you guys need to focus on them instead of literally making stuff up

      @@mangasinatanaelpanjaitan3048 I really doubt they'll make an unit that hits for Max HP % damage because that is someone who is truly immune to powercreep, unless it's to a cap (see Luka). I could see him maybe being a sub DPS though, just not in that particular way cause it runs counter to Hoyo's business model.

    Awesome runs, really like watching the usual Jade + Lingsha combo. The PF buffs are crazy, I actually got my first ever PF 0 cycle albeit only on one side. I used Rappa Acheron RM HMC, all E0S1 (I have it posted if anyone's interested). No idea for side 2 though, if I had Jade I could've done something like Jade Herta with Feixiao as the driver.
    After consulting and much thinking I decided to go for Fugue. Got lucky so I still have decent savings for Herta. Pretty happy but at the same time I'm concerned for my pulls now that they've announced Tribbie for 3.1. I'm gonna need my luck more than ever I guess 😂

      I'd imagine you might be able to wait for herta to try side 2 though again, being good in general may not mean she's good in pf 0 cycles. Also, gratz on getting fugue! Hope you'll continue to be lucky with your pulls

    The number of turns Rappa got is so stupid haha.
    I really wonder how next PF will be, because even I could 0 cycle this time. I fear it'll be very different haha.

    Ok, I had done PF before getting Fugue and hadn't tried after but I kinda thought "what if I try to do the same team on auto?" after watching this and it was an auto 0 cycle.
    The difference was that my Fugue is E0S0, RM is E1S1 and my Rappa is only at 189%BE if I am to meet the SPD requirements (I don't have Thief SPD boots so it had to be an ATK% which kinda made my other relics have to focus on SPD instead of BE%).
    EDIT: Also, Fugue is not maxed out yet on Talent + she's 2p2p and at only 157.7%BE and 170SPD. RM also had Vonwacq but I kinda forgot to swap my relics (I was trying something before this with other units) so she only had 109SPD and 160%BE. So, yeah, requirements for this one are really low and relatable. :o

    The funny part is. Replacing Ruan Me with Lingsha, and having E2 Fugue exhasperbates this to the point where having Ruan Mei is completely unecessary and you can run any break character in the last slot and dominate the current PF.

    Would running hmc with fugue allow me to run be rope on hmc?

    • @EiDehGaming
      @EiDehGaming  6 днів тому

      Not for this strat. The point is to maximize HMC ults. In comparison, BE rope really does not improve the team damage all that much and dmg is less important in PF.

    Pretty much it's becoming a standard, at least in PF, and maybe MOC (not AS since it didn't really matter at all): Nihility debuffer-type characters nowadays should not lose their debuffs on any circumstances, except when they are off from the field or dedge, at least for PF, and MoC in the future. While they lack the pure dmg amp to be competitive to Harmony characters (I mean, honestly, Fugue's dmg amp alone is kinda crap, but ofc that's not her whole kit), at least the flaws in the design of old Nihility debuffer-type should be dealt with, and the fact that the debuff remains on the field continuously disregarding the enemies' turn, it's more or less a decent improvement for this undervalued group of characters.
    Ofc, for old ones (honestly there's only Pela, really), you can setup to time it perfectly, but honestly it's not always that easy or convenient for a portion of playerbase, and ppl don't really always know to optimize the play, and you get a rather oof result. It's like, there's a way to make up for the flaw, but in the end, kit designing wise, it's still a flaw that should exist. Howerver, at the same time, there should be a design where they remove the flaw for the sake of the character's strength and should be readjusted to balance out their strength, that is if HSR devs know what "balance" even mean.
    Overall, yeah, future Nihility debuffer-type characters should have that feature, otherwise they just lose out a lot in comparison to other dmg amp supports (even w/ utility) available, unless, in exchange for that consistency proven to be valuable in both MoC and PF atm, they really thrive in dmg amplifying, to a point at which one may rival or outperform Robin (which has more or less highest dmg amp in general for all team comps atm) in this department.

    • @EiDehGaming
      @EiDehGaming  6 днів тому

      Yea I generally agree though as usual it's hard to predict what mihoyo will do. It is a valid lever of power to adjust, perma debuff in exchange for stronger debuff, but for all we know we might just get a character that has neither. Who knows
