I have a question. So for a double weave when you reach the end you just tie it off and then go back to the other side that side and start another double row?
Awesome 😘👌🏽 will be giving this a go either tomorrow (I can see flowers on 1 of my harakeke) or later if flowers are crusty 🤣😅🤣😅 just wondering how old are the flowers you used? and how long did you soak them for? I think my flowers may be past used by date 😅😅😅
I cant tell the difference atm, but is the string its holding onto muka or mopstring? Im getting into making traditional korowai and kakahu in general and wanted to know if the string is muka, do you wait for it dry and if so how long until you add the fresh harakeke please. Love your mahi! And informational video/tutorial!
Kia Ora , I am wanting to make my pepis a Piupiu for my 2yo female toddler & a maro for my 1yo baby boy. I love your transitioning from one thing to another but I am just stuck on once you tie your harakeke to your rope? By the way which sort of rope is it sorry? And once you do your harakeke to the rope how you do your whatu part that’s what I’m stuck on? I don’t understand aroha Mai whaea. Kia pai to mahi! Ka rawe

If we want to dye it, do we wait for the harakeke to dry and dye it before putting it together?
