Thank you for a wonderful concert! The choir has a great tone quality, harmonies were beautiful, and soloists were very confident! Thank you! Keep singing!
I miss the smiles and passion and excitement our boys had in the 90's!
No joy all around..
Great job! Such professionalism and poise.
👍 👏🏻 I enjoyed your concert. 😊
The first 2 songs are classic jazz songs. Jazz came from African Americans, yet, there are NO BLACK BOYS in this choir. Why?How is this truly American and it's a shame. I'm NOT blaming these boys, but to say they are from "diverse backgrounds" but not have any black kids is sad
¿Qué tiene que ver el no tener niños negros en el coro?
There have been black boys over the fifty years of the chorus. They had great voices and were friends with our boys. No boy is ever left alone, and any two or more who see a boy alone are happy to ask him to join them. Great character and inclusiveness!
The chorus has no shame in expressing our diverse backgrounds. The only reason why they have no African American boys is because they don’t audition. There have been many African American boys over the 50 years that they have been around. The chorus is not discriminatory towards any racial or religious group. To make such an uneducated claim of yours is so foolish of you.
@@ritamasinsin18 Thank you!--I posted this same thing on our AABC website. I remember these boys with our sons, who are 7 years apart, so sang with 2 different groups really. Esther Batterton, mother of Scott Harrah, Baritone, and Thomas Batterton, Bass.
There are no white boys in the Nigerian boy's choir either. So WHAT?
