Am I hearing this wrong or did Rocky basically just admit to getting paid? Since he brought the deal he got ‘paid’, not understanding it’s the same thing as a kickback. He shady as hell.

Right. The Bivens love to play semantics games to obscure their shenanigans. If he's using the entire group's name, likeness, image, and performances to get paid money that the entire group isn't privy to, hasn't discussed, or contractually agreed upon, it's a kickback.

IMHO, the tone of the text message sounds very generic. I think it's some foolery, being pulled by the producers, in order to stir up more drama. Kandi, Tamika and Tiny's body languages seem to suggest that they know this is some industry game being played. All 3 of them are looking at Tocha like, "Girl, just play along."...But she ain't going.

When he and his wife conspired to steal Tamika's SoundExchange checks, they had no way of knowing that they'd be on a reality TV show a decade later. I think the cameras are merely capturing the Bivens' in their natural element. Also, Tiny and Kandi have done UA-cam videos stating that they've LONG heard that Rocky was receiving kickbacks for Xscape performances, but they had no concrete proof prior to seeing the texts. So, if he was receiving kickbacks long before they knew they'd be doing a reality show, then I can certainly believe that this is a real storyline.

Why lie, why would Tamika throw her sister under the bus for this type of show? Kandi isn't a liar, and she and Tiny certainly don't need to come up with fake stories to get attention. Anything is possible, you could be right. I just don't believe these women would go that low. This isn't Love and Hip hop.

People wanted to leave the negotiations between swv management & xscape mgmt but Xscape already knew shady sh!t goes down if they not involved. Now you can see why xscape members comfortable talking business for themselves and know their monetary value.

What Rocky is saying usually involves that being in a *CONTRACT.* What he *ACTUALLY* did was a kickback through a side deal in text messages. We went to this show and it was amazing Ladies!!!!! The flow was great. the stage presence of both groups!!! Of course the voices were Wonderful!!! Yeah, it is still a favorite concert for me and husband.

IMHO, the tone of the text message sounds very generic. I think it's some foolery, being pulled by the producers, in order to stir up more drama.
