Quick Review: While the first ride may have left me wanting more, this roller coaster gets better and better the more you ride it. It's one hell of an airtime machine, has the best restraints out there for a ride of this kind, and is just a great roller coaster.

While the front row is great for the sense of speed from all the trees, the first drop alone makes this a back car ride for me.
In general though, this ride surprises me every time how great it´s airtime is when I go back to Holiday Park every couple of years. It truly still holds up to it´s status as one of the worlds greatest coasters.
Seit 2002 eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsbahnen. Meine erste große Stahlachterbahn. :-) I will never forget the first drop and camelback on my first ride. Thanks for this update in 4k! And thanks to Werner Stengel, the legend who said he designed the track with a lot of passion. You can feel that still after over 20 years.
Cool to hear your comparisons to RMC. It feels like RMC likes to try super short but super strong ejector airtime hills. Would be cool to see them try more drawn out, sustained airtime hills like this has.

Question for the thoosies in here. Could these trains be used on Skyrush instead of what they have now?
Not if they wanted to keep the winged seating. Also, it would be a better idea to have those over the shoulder lapbars that velocicoaster and pantheon have, because the seat belt buckle is on top of the restraint, instead of hugging your body, which makes it much easier to check.
With intamin t bars, the seatbelt is attached to the rider, which makes it a pain in the butt to check the restraints.
Yeah I was saying replace the wing seating with something else so you can utilize different restraints. I never understood why Hersheypark doesn't try to improve and or change the restraints/trains completely. But after the new RMC I'm sure Skyrush will be on the back burner for a little while.
@@Sir_Jake15 I am curious about that as well. All Hershey or Intamin would have to do is to change the contouring of the lapbar.

Just from seeing the footage this or last year :D (The Area you see at around 0:58 on the left of the Coaster was finished roughly last year :D)

@@beatsundreime ah i see. I can't quite remember 100% but the trim brakes on the side of the track must have been there on Monday when i visited the park :D
