It really is Beyoncé’s vocals for me like apart from the dancing her voice gets me everytime so power and agile, I’m honestly one of the greatest to hold a mic
Your guys face during her dance break at the end was priceless. You guys had a blank face like you were completely captivated. Beyonce is one of a kind and one of the greatest performers living or dead of all time.
Both of the songs you’ve done so far are from her 2006 B’Day album, which was recorded with live instruments including brass. It was a funky, eclectic mix of hip hop, R&B, jazz, go go, and more, and it’s probably the most fun she’s ever had on record.
I totally understand how you guys never heard this song or heard the “Upgrade u” song, those particular songs were big but only to certain demographic, those songs weren’t big or on the level of her big hit singles like “Single ladies, “Crazy in love”, “Halo”, “Irreplaceable” and more!
Love on Top is honestly up there too
There are def songs that were more "black", this is one or those

I remember seeing this live in London. Deja Vu was no.1 in the U.K. but I don’t think it was as big in America. It’s my favourite Beyoncé single.

Its about jay z Beyoncé singing about how he is so much a part of her life, that he seems to always be there, similar to the "deja vu experience". Jay-Z also affirms the love for Beyoncé in this song, rapping about how he used to be a womanizer, but now he is dedicated to her. It's up-tempo sound cause it's supposed to be good feelings.
