In reality, he should be the 2nd option. I feel that with healthy ball movement and a faster pace, the ball will find the man with the best shot. This option 1,2,3 that you hear over and over is restrictive and limits touches. We have 3 players that are capable of giving you 30 points on any given night in a variety of ways with ball movement. So why play such regimented basketball? Get the ball to the guy that has the best shot opportunity!

This is a good trade for the Celtics. The game is going back toward big men and the unique thing about Kristaps is he can stretch the floor and open up the opponents defense so much especially if he's playing with an already stout offensive team. Major upgrade at the center position for the Celtics which is something they need. But very very upsetting to see Smart go as he was a part of their core.
Obviously, the Celtics believe that he can be replaced. In fact, according to Box Score Plus/Minus, the team was better last season with him off the floor. Brogdan and Price both grade out considerably higher than Smart.

It is going back to big men but we truly have lost all good big men, no one is big and strong like the previous days. Our biggest people are the same ones that looked too clumbsy to compete in the 90s because they were too weak for true strong men down low. Ever since David Robinson trained tim Duncan and the big men retired we just have weak people down low and no centers just wing forwards. Unfortunately this guy looks like a led weight down low and weak as hell. Celtics already have strong perimeter and mid shooters. I don't think this Guy is what they need when the real strong men come back to the NBA.

If this works Celtics get a ring next year. Porzingis has always had the potential to be a superstar himself but bad situations at the wrong teams and lots of injuries made everyone forget how good he is. He just had his best year ever last year and is still young enough to improve. If he stays injury free and they all work out how to best play together they could be deadly. No better scorer in the post statistically last year except Joker and KPs play making is underrated too.

I guess each Boston star has to completely fall apart at least one game per series either way, and have a 13-4-6 kind of night. It's tough to win against the best that way.

Thats 2nd option production. Even tho im CelticsK they are my favorites right now cause they are the most complete/deep team in the league with tons of experience, this might be a dinasty and can see them winning 2-3 chips in the next 5 years.
