When I was younger I used to sing in a chorus but then I left and for years I didn't felt this safe singing in a loong time because I simply forgot my tone, this helped alot!
Hey Tani, Yes it can be tricky to get at first. Think about what happens and how you sound when you have a stuffy nose (no air in the nasal cavity). Try to emulate that. Once you get comfortable being there, try sliding forward into the “witchy” placement (abundance of air in the nasal cavity). Once you have a good grasp on both extremes... starting aiming for the middle.
I’d say the hardest may be to make sure when transitioning from front to back, that I’m transitioning correctly. To find the area with least amount of vibration.
This has been my problem for a long time. Thanks to you, now I know how to practice. It's a bit unnatural for me but I will try training until it's automatic. Thanks again
Thank you so much. I’ve always known where my placement spot was but I always fumbled around and would find it after 2 hours of practice. This helped me be able to pinpoint it and have an easy way to go back and locate it
The hardest part for me is finding the middle of my soft palate. For some reason it feels more comfortable sending my voice to the back of my soft palate
I love your video so much your the best vocal coach ever 💖💖 I’m still kinda stuck do you find that place when the neey sound disappears because mine disappear really far back? இдஇ and I sound like an owl and do you make the sound behind the hard pallet? 😭😭இдஇ x
Hey Sugar Candy! Thank you so much for the support I appreciate it very much! So if you sound like an owl you’ve probably gone to far back 😊. Bring it forward a bit ( more witchy less cold) and aim for the middle of the hard palate. That’s how I’ve been approaching it.
The hardest part of this exercise is when she sang at the ending part i tired but it seems something was obstructing my throat please i need advice and help
Hey CornballMadeDdg, no no. This is an exercise you do before you start singing so you can find your “balanced sound”... the midway point between the “witchy and cold sound”.
Love the way you simplify and break it down. Makes it all less scary and achievable. You’re amazing 🙏🏽🥰
Hey Lola thank you! and I am super glad that you find my breakdowns useful! it is my pleasure to help!

After about a solid 2 weeks for practicing I finally got it!!! My voice is a lot louder with less effort! Thank you sooooo much!

Whats your vocal range?
