- 1973 episode of Let's Make A Deal recorded from The Family Channel in January 1994.
From my VHS collection recorded via Armstrong Cable in Medina, Ohio. Whenever possible, the original commercials are left intact.
Jay Stewart had a superb voice.
This was the Season 2 finale, taped 3/29/73. Nice way to end the season.
You are correct that it was the Season 2 Finale- Episode 78- Original Air Date: June 30, 1973
I love endings like that when both traders ends up with new Chevys
Thanks for keep the commercial 😅
Rip Monky Hall 1960s or whatever -2017 😢
His brother was at my aunt's funeral near Bayview golf and country club December 2014.
Monty Hall
1921 - 2017
aaaaaaawww, that was a tough one on the stingray.
The cars appear to be 1973 models, so this is likely from 1973, not 1974.
Thank you! I updated the title and description.
Bet you they wont drink coffee anymore
Right, Missing out on a Corvette
@@edwardsimmons3190 $600 for a Corvette and they didn't make it to the big deal
$10000 just to leave with $600

They cone dresses as rhey are but sokenif the costumes, hair and make up were supplied by producers' and floor manager's assistants for the guests who stood innline outside or had tickets and could get in on the day appointed.
$600 is a lot of money to give 33% in gift taxes back. Or pay gift tax on $6949.50?
Tires was the best gift game shows had to offer when tires were in short supply. Vehicle? What? Give away a vehicle the winner has to pay tax on, insure and maintain without extra cash in their household or personal pin money?
It is not worse now than then. It is almost the same with fewer people gaining privacy afforded by the US Constitution, BILL OF RIGHTS and ammendments.
Fighting comes in many forms. Let's Make A Deal was fighting to maintain its scheduled time slot on one network of 3 major networks. They were all fighting for position with ratings and viewers looking at advertising their sole support for their business activities.
Non-profit support? Contributions.
Wonder why FAM skipped the second guy who had the money pack.
Fam unfortunately edited out a portion of each episode (usually on deals like this that involve multiple audience members) in order to make room for the Trivial Pursuit play breaks. :(
WHen they reran Name that Tune 1984-85, they edited out the fee plugs and $100k tourney prize descriptions to get two extra minutes to do a playbreak.@@captainmr.oracle5000
If that guy Tom watched the reruns I’m sure he was pissed that his portion was edited out.. Don’t cut a classic!
That was carnie shit having a vet key hidden under the lid. You know they would have given them just the $600 without mentioning the key if she had picked the coffee.
That was the magic of LMAD because there are surprises all around and on occasion they would hide keys to cars in zone prizes.
